Say goodbye to any smell related complaints folks. Been using these for years; work a charm. 5/5. Quick tip ; add a layer of toilet roll or kitchen roll on top of filter to make each one last longer. :)

I bought the main piece maybe 3 years ago and have been buying the replacements since then. I buy the 3 set maybe about every 3 months, use it daily with concentrates. Each tends to last around a month. Replacing is usually easy, only gross the longer you wait. I personally like the size and it’s easy to store if needed. I do appreciate how easy it is to clean the main part also. The filter works well for the most part, the smell still lingers but not prominent.

I love this gadget— it’s pretty incredible how well it works, and I never seem to have any issues with smell anymore. One lasts me about 2/3 weeks. Swapping them out is so easy! It’s not small, so don’t use this size in a purse/car if you want it to be discreet.

At first it seemed these lasted a while, but I don't think I'm getting even like 100 passes through it before it's impossible to blow through. I'm not sure what the tests were done *with* or the frequency they were done or maybe what's wrong with mine, but I've tried cleaning the removable screen regularly and also not cleaning it regularly and it makes no difference. They last a little longer than some other brands, and I like the zero waste filters, but for how expensive they are, and how short they last for me, probably going to need to look elsewhere.

These are good. They stopped my neighbours screeching, I only have 3 cigarettes a day. But this is helpful and lasts a while. Expensive though.

When I blow smoke into it, it traps all the smoke and odor. Works great, easy to replace the filters, lasts a long time, and is easy to hold. Looks clean and simple on your table.

Although the unit doesn’t have a cap it really isn’t necessary because of how effective it is. Doesn’t not clog up until it needs to be replaced. I’ll give it 4.5/5 which rounds up

Let me start by saying that I love this little guy and it works to perfection! It's sleek, subtle, and doesn't emit any odor whatsoever. While the replacement filters are a tad on the pricey side, I have no problem paying for something if it is a quality product, which this definitely is!My only real gripe with it would be the "500 smoke breaths" that the packaging/advertisers claim... I decided to use a clicker to keep track of how many times I was able to use it before it got impossible to blow through, and it ended up being just under half of the bold claim at 236 exhales. Now I'm sure there are lots of variables involved that can affect the performance, like what kind of substance you are breathing through it. For the record, the kind I had was thicker than cigarette smoke, but more thin than green clouds, so you be the judge.As you can see by photos, the used filter weighs almost a whole ounce more than the new one, which is pretty impressive!So even though the 500 claim is quite farfetched, I am still extremely satisfied and will continue to use my little buddy, because at the end of the day, it works darn good. That's all that matters!

I used to be loyal to the one everyone knows, the buddy. As time went on I realized I was unhappy with that product for 3 main reasons: 1. The plastic waste - every time it was spent you are throwing away the plastic that incases the filter, the plastic packaging, amd eventually the Keychain made of plastic that came with every single one (nobody needs that many). 2. The price was getting outrageous. For a big one it was costing around $30. That brings me to my final point. 3. For the cost they didn't last very long. MAYBE and that's a generous maybe, you get a month tops with daily use.So I started looking for other options that would be more cost effective and more waste friendly. For a few days I looked up every personal air filter on the market. Smoke Trap+ was the one I decided to try and I haven't used anything else since. I only had to buy 1 plastic piece in the year it's been since I switched to Smoke Trap. The plastic piece is just a holder for the replaceable filter. The replacements come in packs of 3. The 3 pack costs just as much as one single big buddy and I get about 2 months out of each filter with daily use.I live in a ground level apartment with other apartments above mine. When I was using the buddy filter I was getting complains regularly about the herbal smell. Since I've switched to Smoke Trap+ I have gotten a single complaint.I can't recommend this enough! It's a superior product that is mindful about its impact on the environment.
