Take out the key and use the tip of a very small screwdriver as a tool to open the back case, replace the same battery carefully. You can use a clean cloth to clean the battery in case some dushes existed

I mean don’t get me wrong it’s a great key fob but the distance on it it’s all that. Although getting a truck with no key fob it’s great finally being able to open my door without using the key

This doesn’t work. Tested the battery and it was 2.45v, but it should still work. No instructions in the box.

I found these very easy to program and are exactly the same as one I bought from a dealer for a lot more money.Don't be intimidated, if you can turn the key you can program these.

I ordered ECCPP Replacement Keyless Entry Remote Controls for my 04 Ford Freestar. Both remotes were as described, worked, and arrived early. It was easy to program both remotes, by following the vehicle's owners manual. This little item made my wife very happy. Overall I am quite satisfied.
