I used this with an arduino to open my cat door! That's not the intended use but I made a prox sensor and motorized hinge combo. Great little motor! I needed two in opposition to make the inner and outer doors close and open.

We have a LG refrigerator that the motor went out after only 2 years. Was looking at almost $500 to have a repairman come out. We found this little jewel on Amazon and had it installed in 15 minutes. If we can do it anyone can do it!
