I purshased two of these and assembled them, only to discover the dimension for width listed in the deccription is incorrect. I purchased these specifically because I needed a 9" width to store art prints and the description said it was 9.58". I am VERY disappointed, as I can't return them without fully disassembling and hauling 25 lbs. to an Amazon drop off location. It fits 8" x 10" just fine and was easy to assemble. I'm just so frustrated they weren't truthful about it.

This is one of those products that you are amazed at how easily it gets put together - and it comes with a screwdriver so you don't have to figure out where you left your tools. Really sturdy, clean lines and love how organized my office now looks.

The mail slot shelf was purchased for a classroom. It is well made and easy to assemble. I waited to review to give the students time to actually use it. The shelf is holding up well and the students can easily access their paperwork when needed.

I have purchased products like this in the past and always ended up being less than impressed with their quality. They are flimsy, bend when putting them together or have slots that can only take a quarter of a ream of paper before they start to buckle.Not the case with this product. The design is built to withstand a lot of weight, enough that you can put a full ream of paper in each opening without worry of it starting to bend or fold up.Putting it together was very straightforward, took me less than 15 minutes from opening the box to having it setup in my studio.The added bonus is the look, it's not some plain white or black cardboard laminate - it looks like real wood and isn't a piece I want to hide in a corner.100% recommend this product.

I've had this a couple of months and have no complaints. It looks nice and does what it should.One note is that I'd hoped to be able to store some 11x17 paper by leaving out one compartment divider, but that doesn't really work. The vertical center divider is a single piece and it seems important for structural integrity, so I didn't risk trying to cut it. I've just set the bigger paper on top for now.

This shelving unit is super sturdy and easy to put together. The instructions are easy to follow. Just make sure you are paying attention and assemble it so the top and bottom lips stick out at the back of the unit. It’s actual wood shelves and the back panels are actual wood panels, not flimsy cardboard panels like so many others. I do a lot of paper craft and this is a great way to organize paper and keep it easily accessible. A couple of things I don’t care for…1. Why they made the inside shelving pieces white I’ll never understand. Would have looked so much better to make them black to match the rest of the unit. Looks like an Oreo.2. Despite what the product info says, you can’t fit a full ream of paper in each slot.3. The screwdriver that comes with this set had a sharp plastic piece at the top, making it unusable, unless you want to rip up your palm using it. That’s great they even included a real screwdriver, but it doesn’t do any good if it’s unusable. One of the small metal dowels was also deformed and had extra flash making that unusable as well. I had a few leftover from a different shelving set that fit so I didn’t have to skip one.All in all, this is a great shelving unit and I plan to buy another one in the future. Definitely recommend.

I've put together a lot of "needs assembly" products, and this one was one of the best-packaged, clearly labeled, easy-to-follow instructions-provided units I've put together. One shelf had a chipped corner, but I put it towards the back where it can't be seen. Then I loaded it down with product: Full reams of paper, cardstock, poly vinyl covers, etc. Then I stacked more stuff on top of it to see how it would hold up. So far, and it's been a month, the unit has not lost any of it's support. I really expected the shelves to sag, but they've held up. Photos are attached (the white stuff is from the Styrofoam packaging and it just wiped off).

I'll start by saying I'm overall happy with it. That being said it is particle board not a solid wood. This means it is heavy and prone to damage and water damage. The upside is it is thick and that lends itself to be stronger. I'm not really worried about papers breaking this but I will be careful on what I stack on top of this.The assembly wasn't hard and the back being two thick pieces of wood is nice. I've put together similar things and they have had cardboard backs.It was a nice touch to include a screwdriver for the assembly but after two screws it just wore out. Not a big deal I have plenty of tools but be aware if your gifting and they have no tools.
