Ready to use out of the box, great quality as far as sturdiness, and lots of room for everything I needed to organize. I use this as a small command center for my home. Bills to be paid, lil notepads and paper scraps for making lists, and extra sticky notes, etc. The design is not so hot. The description said it's supposed to look like roses as far as the cut of the metal, and I guess they do. They're just kind of weird. Not a concern for me because this thing is highly functional for what I needed by keeping looking neat and clutter free.

I got this for the end table next to my recliner. It holds my cell phone, TV remote, DVD remote, a book, and a junior-size notebook. This helps me get organized so it looks a little neater and things don't slide off the table. It looks elegant with the other black-accented items in the room.

Sturdy, pretty and just the right size for my home work space. I like the fact that it is metal and not plastic, which means it stays where I put it and doesn't get pushed out of place. Very handy item.
