Works great. I haven't played the TUBA in years. My 6th grade started playing and brought a practice TUBA home. Fun!

The finish is polished and looks great. The size 24AW is a deep cup, a fairly standard in dimensions, and should produce a dark tone. This is a good mouthpiece to add to your collection, depending on what kind of group your are playing in (e.g., band) and location (e.g., church). Great value.

This Eastrock Tuba Mouthpiece is exactly as advertised and pictured. It's smooth throughout with no noticeable blemishes and bears the weight of quality metal. Tone-wise, I have nothing for comparison since my daughter is new to tuba, but it's exactly what she needs for middle school band.The only thing I don't like is that it lacks a bag or padding of any sort to protect it as she carries it back and forth to school, but it's not something I feel devalues the rating.

This mouthpiece appears to be well-made - however, I did not get an opportunity to try it as the shank was *way* too small for either of my BBb horns. Ended up returning this and buying a genuine Bach 24AW that fits perfectly.
