I’m a band director. I use this sometimes to demonstrate something to my students on the tuba… I don’t have an extra tuba for myself, so I will use the student’s tuba with my own mouthpiece. Works fine for me. I’m not a professional tuba player… just a beginning band teacher. It’s good enough for my purposes, for sure.

I bought this for my grandson's tuba for the band. Being first-year, we didn't want to spend a bunch on it to find out that he doesn't like tuba. This works well for a beginner and is budget-friendly.

the mouthpiece is good, but the box is extremely hard to open, and i had to slam the mouthpiece up and down inside of it to get it to not be suctioned together, and i closed it when it was empty and now i cant open it. could just be a defect with mine though, other than that its good

I needed a tuba mouthpiece quickly after moving, and not being able to find my other mouthpieces among the boxes in my storage unit, so I could participate in a community band rehearsal. I was able to get this with two-day Prime shipping, just in time for my first rehearsal. I usually prefer to use a slightly larger mouthpiece, but this played comfortably enough for a couple rehearsals until I could find my other mouthpieces. Solid value for the money, and with the benefit of Prime shipping.

I’m VERY happy with this tuba mouthpiece. I got a great deal on this for only $17. AND the shipping was very fast! A very nice, solid mouth piece and it fits perfectly in my son’s tuba. My son told me that his mouthpiece was left at school during this pandemic so he had a tuba and no way to play it. Being that we’re stuck at home I knew I had to buy one if he was going to be able to practice his tuba. I’m sure glad I priced it out all over online. The prices sure vary!! What a great buy!

I decided to switch to tuba from flute in band for my senior year in high school. The band director was fine with it. Then school started and I didn't have a mouthpiece and neither did my director. She had me use a trombone mouthpiece and I would hold it where the mouthpiece would go while my other hand handled the keys. Of course that didn't work. My band director held on for a while before she got tired and gave me one week to get a mouthpiece. Since I chose to play tuba on a whim, my mother wasn't going to spend a bunch of money on a mouthpiece for an instrument I'll only play for one year. Enter the Glory Standard Tuba Mouthpiece. Got it for cheap and it lasted the whole year and still looks great!
