Pros:- Sturdy/heavy--impressively well made for the price!- Comfortable enough for long playing sessions.- Smoothe operationCons:- Limited height adjustability--I'm 5'5" and would prefer to sit an inch or two lower than this can go.- Somewhat noisy--the backrest creaks under pressure, and the stool squeaks a little when swiveling, but neither of these are detrimental to its function.- Bulky--the legs fold up, but the whole thing is NOT compact compared to a standard drum throne.

Bought this to use with my Dob.8 telescope and it's perfect. Comfy n easy to raise n lower as needed. Best part is that it costs less than a third of what chairs marketed for stargazing cost.

Got this for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loves it. Said it is made very well, very sturdy and comfortable to sit on. He is a drummer so that was the true test for me.

Llevo dos meses con el asiento, y he notado mucha mejoría en mi comodidad y me canso menos de estar sentado, no es portátil (una vez que lo armas, ya no se puede quitar el asiento de la base), y las patas del asiento ya se están aflojando, al igual que las llaves, espero que me dure más tiempo, vivo en la playa y también ya se está empezando oxidar, más rápido de lo que pensé.

Sturdy and comfortable. Seems to be well built, I got this for another practice set I purchased and play for 3 hrs a day and don't feel strain of lower back after. Good price.
