THIS IS NOT THE SEAT AND TRIPOD. When you buy this, you will only receive the padded seat and not the tripod. The only difference in this listing and the one that comes with the tripod is the weight and price.

I like that this drum throne has four legs instead of three, making more stable than other thrones I have used. The one I received didn't have any instructions on how to assemble it, so I had to guess and look at pictures. I got it together ok and the base is very stable, but the seat is still a little wobbly. The padded seat is fairly comfortable.

This item is well worth the money. Very sturdy and the seat looks wonderful. I would purchase again.

This drum throne is very sturdy and solid. It does not take up too much space so it became my favorite seat for gigging. The bottom section is heavy and stable while the cushion is very supportive while remaining to be comfortable.

I got this as a piano seat as I'm too tall to fit under standard keyboard height, so my keyboard is raised up on an adjustable stand and I needed a seat that would reach up and allow me to get the right ergonomics for my knees. This is a very solid throne, stays put and is stable at high extension heights. I'm also on the larger side as well and this is a nice broad base to perch on.

I've been going back and forth on whether or it's worth full price, but is overall a very solid and sturdy throne! The metal used is serious. It is a heavy stool and can even tolerate leaning over on 2 legs and not bending or cracking it all! Shiny chrome polish looks great as well!I've got sitting issues and most chairs hurt me but this one is actually great on my behind! It could have more gel forming but the foam padding is really thick and I'm confident the padding and stool will last for a very long time!

Very sturdy and solid generic round-top drum throne.Double-braced legs with beefy rubber feet, a typical threaded spindle, with collar, (be sure to tighten the set screw on the spindle, or the seat with swivel,) and a thick foam top.The top is covered with a velvet-like material, which keeps your butt from sticking to it, which can happen with vinyl-covered seat tops.I use it with my practice pad, which is held in a snare stand, so I don't have to bring the throne from my drum set to the set-up pad.Comparable to many such thrones, at a decent price.

Decent build quality, seat padding is a little hard!
