In all honesty, don't waste your money. I could immediately tell that this set was very low quality when I opened it. The wood is extremely soft. The mallet heads we compressed and deformed after one hit.This break happened before the first game was over. I will be looking for a new set.

I bought this for 10 year old. One of the mallets broke on the first game. I will say the company sent a new mallet very fast without any issues (great customer service). I did pay more than some of the other sets because of the cool black color and square heads. The black paint does chip pretty easy. The carry case is awesome.

This seems to be a pretty sturdy set. Although we have only used it twice in the last week since receiving and one of the mallet sticks broke when we were playing. Not sure if they can send a replacement or have to send whole set back.

Si tu objetivo es un set de croquet amateur para jugar esporádicamente con la familia: éste es tu set. Me pareció de buena calidad en relación al precio y la finalidad que le quiero dar.Sets de este tipo son considerados "juguetes" por las dimensiones y durabilidad de los materiales, se nota fácilmente que después de unos cuantos usos la pintura negra se despostillará y las pelotas se marcaron ya con los primeros golpes, pues son de plástico (pesado). Los mazos son de madera que no es del todo sólida pero tampoco se siente tan frágil como para no usarlos con confianza. El "carrier" es de plástico, no se ve tan sólido pero con un uso cuidadoso seguro dura un tiempo.Es una buena opción (teniendo en mente que no durará para siempre) por la relación calidad/precio y con la finalidad de tener un entretenimiento familiar de fin de semana considerando que un set profesional y duradero empieza a partir de los $12,000.

This is a very nice croquet set! I bought it for our big yard. It has metal bands around the ends of each mallet to improve durability. I especially like the carrying case. There is a spot for every piece and it is compact.

I had a different set and the handles kept breaking. The gates were super flimsy. This set the poles seem to be nice and sturdy and the gates are made of a thicker material and don't bend like the others did. I really like this set. I highly recommend this set.

Set is a decent value of the money but leaves a little to be desired. The mallets are good quality and held up well during their first use. The wickets that come with the set are the thinnest gauge metal I have seen for croquet and are also very short for croquet standards. By the time you stick them in the ground, even with short grass there is not much room to get the ball under. I will be buying a better set of wickets for sure. The balls themselves while heavy are cheap and dent and scare very quickly (See attached pictures after one round). The carry case is also cheap and the mallets fall out of the cheap plastic clips with little effort. Honestly not a bad set for the money, but I would return had I not destroyed the box when opening.Recap:Pros: Good quality malletsCons:Cheap, short, and thin metal on wicketsBalls damage very easilyCarry case is junk.
