I have been using eagle Claw since I was a kid and whether it is the premiere hook I cannot tell you, but this I know. I could not find gold trout hooks from any other manufacture for the life of me. Having a Trout kit for Trout is genius and has helped me to restock my fishing supplies with trustworthy gear.

The hooks are in small, labeled packages so you know why they’re used for. I haven’t fished in 30 years, so this is a good starter kit to get me set up again.

This is not a super fancy kit, but seems to include all the necessary supplies for a beginning angler! Bought this for my 13 yo son because he's started to show an interest in fishing. I didn't need something with 150 lures or whatever so this seems more than adequate! Got it on a Black Friday deal as well so the price was definitely right.

I bought this set as gift for a starter fisherman as a compliment to the Ugly Stick combo that I bought for them. It made a fine gift. The set is not jam packed for the money, but it is a good container, with room for a few additional lures and tackle. It would make a great back packable kit for hiking and survival use. If I ever hiked the Appalachian trail, I would consider stocking this kit heavily and packing it with a collapsible survival fishing rod.

Beau kit de départ ou de survie pour mettre dans un b.o.b mais je pense que le contenant est plus gros qu'indiqué. Je m'entendais à la moitié du volume, mais sinon je suis satisfait, reste à voir la qualité du matériel à l'intérieur. Je met 4 étoiles sous toutes réserves et vais revenir modifier selon ma satisfaction à moyen terme. Rapport qualité-prix je n'ai rien trouvé de mieux en magasin.
