Be aware that the item in the detailed pictures does not match the item that the company ships! They changed the picture on top of the page after I order the items - the rails I ordered had steps included in the design - the one I received was a simple rock rail (see pictures). Thus only three stars. In terms of the rail I received (and I kept it) - I like that it has three body mount attachments vs two that come on most of the lower cost rails. This should provide much more rigidity and protection on an actual impact.Installation is very easy - simply remove all six fasteners from the body mounts first, place the rail on two buckets under the vehicle and then you can install. It literally took less than 10 minutes per side.Packaging was very good, ample bubble wrap and rubber stoppers at the end of the rails prevented any shipping damage.

I was able to help my boyfriend install these rails on my Jeep. Easy, straight forward process. They look great, and give me something to step onto when getting in and out — a huge help with a 4.5” lift + 35” tires! Haven’t been off-roading yet, but these bolt onto the frame, so I know that adds extra protection. Cost was considerably less than the rails I had my eye on elsewhere and honestly for the difference in money, these were the better choice. Couldn’t be happier.

The drivers side slider was manufactured incorrectly and wont line up with the bolts on the body mounts. The passenger side was fine, but drivers would NOT fit. When I tried to do a refund request on Amazon, the site said I would have to pay for the return shipping and as these are like 5 feet long and 70 or 80 pounds that will cost me a fortune. Why do I have to pay out of pocket for their poor manufacturing.

This is the best deal. I get so many compliments on these. Running boards definitely complete the look of a Jeep. I installed them by myself and it was a little awkward. Had I had another person, it would have been a breeze. The only problem was that they are heavy, which is what you want. Also, one of the front bolts wouldn't allow for the nut to go on. No big deal to me, but it might be to some. These things are solid and look amazing on my Jeep.Update: 4 months into these and they are awesome. Many car washes and salt air from Florida, still look brand new. I'll be looking at their bumpers.

The sliders are an excellent replacement for the factory steps. They look great and feel solid! However, like all solid products you add to your Jeep, you can count on the extra weight that goes with it. When it comes to installing, I would recommend having an extra set of hands (or use a floor jack. They’re heavy and both sides rear mount needed to be pushed with a screwdriver to line up with the bolts. Overall installation took me and my son about than 30 minutes.

Package arrived a day earlier than expected and wrapped well in a sturdy box. Minor dings in the powder coat, but nothing serious.Installation was a breeze on passenger side, but a pain on the driver side. Passenger side bolted up in 10 minutes. Driver side brackets were about an inch off. Had to widen out the holes in the mounting brackets in the slider with a dremmel and then send it home with a big pry bar to get the last quarter of inch to line up correctly.Other than that, sliders look great, and super sturdy. These are great because they’re sliders and a step. Other than installation issues, is a pretty good product

Cardboard box was a little banged up like the EAG bumper's box I ordered. But, just like the bumper the rails were well wrapped nicley. No scratches or nicked edges. The finish looks great. Made to fit. Had no issue getting them on by myself, they weigh 40ish lbs each. A 16mm socket is all you need. I could not find the exact torque specs for the nuts that attached the rails, but after consulting a couple web sites and Jeep forums it's something between 40-63 ft-lbs of torque. I split the difference and went with 50 ft-lbs fwiw.I recommend these rock rails they helped my vertically challenged wife, and look to be a solid product. Will update if I bash them on a rock, with good or bad news.

So far so good. Pretty solid mounts; I weigh 259 and they don’t even move when I stand on them. Haven’t had a chance to go over any gnarly rocks with them but they help my 4 year old climb into our JKU Rubicon with a 3” lift and 35” tires. We used an impact wrench to take off the Rubicon rock sliders and put these on. They weigh nearly the same as the rock sliders did.
