**Slightly graphic review**I bought this product to use as a substitute when my preferred wound cream didn't arrive on time (not from amazon). It was recommended for minor wounds but I used it on a deep wound on my horses leg. Use at your discretion, but for my situation it worked well. It started the early stages of the healing process.The wound was several inches long and gaped open. We cleaned it up, applied this cream and wrapped it up. Within 2 days we could see the wound starting to heal. I will definitely be keeping some of this on hand.I don't know how this works on "proud flesh". My other wound cream is specially formulated to help with it but I'm guessing this would probably do a pretty good job on regular wounds.

I ordered this product originally for an older mare that had pressure sores, the cream is nice, can be applied thick and actually stays on a works! I used it on my goats and dog for various reasons and in all cases, it really accelerated the healing process and protected the skin and kept flies away, I am impressed. I purchased this 3 times for myself and even sent a jar to my daughter for her dog. I will now always keep this wound cream in my barn medicine cabinet. I highly recommend this product for anyone with animals.

Covers the wound and seems to repel flies so it is a winner for my horse who is in the pasture 24/7 and manages to scrape himself on air. Good price too. I like it better than some pricier wound creams. It isn't gooey and washes off well. I do alternate it with just a wound care spray to allow air to get to the wound some too. One day on, one day off.

This is really such a reasonably priced product that has such great results on some of my horses, smaller cuts and abrasions and even with bigger issues like stitchings from a surgery. Saw this product on YouTube and a veterinarian was recommending it. So…. I gave it a go and I’m so happy I did. I am also recommending this product. Turns out several people that I’ve talked to. Also I’ve tried it and are very happy with the results.

Gnats have been causing my mule to bite at his front armpits creating open wounds and scabs. That attracts more gnats. This cream has helped heal him along with gnat prevention, Avon Skin so Soft and Repel X fly spray. This is the second container I've used for another horse as well. I recommend it.

They've rejected my review thrice now, just because...? I said that it really, actually works?Well, it does. I guess I can't say how I know this, since apparently that's not allowed, so I guess you just have to take my word for it? Sorry, but it does work and I'll sign my name to that.Not greasy. Creates its own sort of bandage once dried. Nice, light scent (mainly smells like citronella) that's almost not detectable.I highly recommend, it worked a miracle for my needs.

Bought this as my mini had some hair loss around his eyes as well as areas where he nicked himself on fencing and where flies were driving him crazy. Most of the time I have to fight him to get his medicine on. Nope, he loved how this cream soothed his oopsies. His hair is growing back, the sores looked so much better even the next day!!!! Works great! Thank you!
