This was fairly easy to install; however, a bit difficult to get it to lock and very difficult to unlatch. The “handle” part needs revamped. Perhaps something that would pop out to be able to turn. I can’t even imagine the difficulty for someone with larger hands or fingers. Seems sturdy but difficult.UPDATE- the door quit latching like intended. Seems as if the peg dropped more since installation. Might need a different/new door plate - but can’t find a replacement for just that piece. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I already had a pocket door in my bathroom so it was pretty easy to install in place of the old one. This fit perfectly where the old socket was. I love the bronze, dark color of the lock. The only issue I had was one of the screws not fitting so I had to use one of the screws off of the old locks but other than that everything fit perfectly into place. It locks good and doesn’t catch.. so, so far so good.

I used this pocket door latch on a standard door to a pantry. I built a set of drawers to replace the shelves and failed to account for the door knob when spacing the drawers and consequently the door knob contacted the drawer front precluding the door from closing all the way. This solved that problem by installing with the twist knob on the outside.The fit was fine and it operates OK for me. The twist knob is a bit hard to turn and and the latch mechanism seems overly long, but it works great in my situation. It looks nice and also allows the door to open fully against the hinge side wall which is another plus for my particular door install.I really have no complaints - it operates as intended, looks great, seems heavy and very well constructed and is as advertised.

We had to change plans in the middle of a remodel and add a pocket door. The hardware for the rest of the house had already been purchased from the big orange store, but they didn't have anything like this to match.The color on this one matches the other knobs in the house and looks really sharp. My contractor said this was easy to install and works perfectly.Only thing I'm not sure on is the finish and how durable it will be. It feels nice, but I'm concerned it may start to scratch with fingernail pulling across it all the time. But so far a couple weeks of use and no issues.

The only issue I have is the size of the unlock knob/lever. It should be sticking out further from the base. It is a bit hard for big hands to turn it. Add a 1/4 inch.
