About this item

  • Switch between dry and wet pickup instantly without compromising filters
  • Vacuum can be run almost continuously by using Wunderbags as a prefilter, Wunderbag works in wet and/or dry applications
  • Filters can be cleaned by agitating a rod on the outside of the vacuum
  • Large capacity barrel easily holds 40 pounds of dust
  • Upgraded rubber wheels, Reinforced lid/barrel

The patented Wet+Dry DustlessVac is the only vacuum that allows you to go from wet to dry without switching filters. A baffle inside the barrel keeps the water away from the filters, and a check ball prevents overfilling, making the Wet+Dry DustlessVac unlike any other vacuum on the market today. The patented filtration system of the Wet+Dry DustlessVac allows you to clean the filters without opening the barrel for a more dust-free work environment. An excellent choice for contractors and DIY homeowners who do not need to meet EPA or OSHA guidelines but want effective and economical dust control, this vacuum provides "almost HEPA" performance. The disposable and tear-resistant WunderBag micro pre-filter captures particles down to .5 microns, amazingly close to HEPA filters that capture down to .3 microns. Best for capturing fine dust from drywall sanding, grinding/cutting of concrete, brick, stone or fiberglass, the Wet+Dry DustlessVac provides powerful suction and intense durability to stand up to whatever the jobsite throws at you.

I like the suction of the vacuum but the hose comes off the vacuum too easily because it unscrews itself during normal use. I wish there was a way to secure it. Also the instructions on replacing the filters and bag aren’t clear. This is an expensive vaccum and it should not have such bad design flaws.

I bought this with a separate squeegee attachment to suck up water when washing an irregular slate floor. It does this better than anything else I have tried.

It works well, rolls good, light weight and not too noisy. Nicely done.

I gave away my vacmaster and shop-vac brand vacuums and am happy with this one. How do those things get high ratings???? Vacuum manufacturers always list air movement as a measurement of vac power, but we don’t care about that. We care about lifting solid stuff into the vacuum, That measurement is “vertical lift” and very few manufacturers post it because their machines are terrible. I found this vacuum after searching extensively for high vertical lift ratings. This isn’t a perfect vacuum, but it does what it is built to do very well, so it is great in my book. Things that could improve: The connections are a tension fit and always either stuck together (paint and drywall dust welds them together) and very difficult to separate (the hose is very big and hard to grip), or falling off (gritty dust creates scratches in the soft plastic connections and prevents a snug tension fit). The storage for the hose, cord and accessories, and the hand holds for steering and lifting are either puzzling or missing completely. Hopefully the company will improve the connections in the next design. That is the most important of these (hint).

This vacuum was amazing at first use! It filtered the sheetrock dust so well that when we lifted a full bag out of the canister, there was ZERO dust inside the canister! (vacuumed up a TON of sheetrock dust) So, so happy we did not purchase a traditional shop vac that would most definitely clog up. (and not clean as well) Well worth spending more money on this as you save time not having to vacuum twice. The suction is excellent. The weight is not too much. Great purchase! 5 stars. Recommend

I really like this vacuum it does a great job. I use the dustless bags and they're great. I put this unit through a lot of abuse in my concrete shop. It is wearing down in certain ways I'm on my second floor wand but those aren't too expensive (the wheels fall off). Overall this is a good machine.

Over the years, all other vacuums I've had, were more expensive, louder, had less suction and leaked drywall dust into the air as they aged. Over the past year that I've had this one, it has performed just as the description says and keeps the area cleaner than any of the others. I use the 3141 Wet/Dry Micro Pre-Filter Bag (Wunderbag). The vacuum never leaks dust into the room and the even the inside of the drum stays clean. The instruction manual is a bit vague on several points and leaves out others. By trial and error, I found that there is no need to use the external agitating rod to shake the small filter protecting the motor, IF you are using a large Wunderbag in the drum to catch all the drywall dust. (In that case, the motor-filter will never get any dust on it, anyway.)Additionally, to maintain maximum suction when using a large Wunderbag, I found that it's important to open the drum lid every couple of hours of usage and shake the two main legs of the large Wunderbag a bit, to knock the dust off and down inside of it and allow better air-flow again. (Be sure the hose is attached to the port when shaking it or you'll force dust out into the room.) Also when shaking it, you should hold the neck of the Wunderbag tightly against the cardboard collar at the inlet port, so that it doesn't tear away from it. If a gap opens up, dust will get into the inside of the drum and onto the motor-filter (but still not out into the room). A little superglue can fix the issue if it happens, but I wish they'd bond the bag to the cardboard collar better. The large Wunderbags are fairly heavy-duty, but the description warns against sucking up sharp stuff like wood chips, etc., that might puncture them. I've used (4) bags used over the past year and none have developed any holes (but I've only used this machine when sanding drywall, not general cleanup that might have damaging pieces of stuff getting sucked up.).
