How to connect:
一、The black wire is the ground (-) of the battery connector or power source, the load common or ground is not involved with this connection
二、The white wire is the positive (+) of the switch (the positive connection of the load goes to the positive of the battery together in parallel )
三、The red wire(the actual switched wire) is the ground (-) of the light, It switches the ground to the load.
Connection method：
一、The WHITE wire AND the Positive Connection of the Load goes directly to the positive connection of the source or battery. Both wires. The load and the switch positive in parallel.
二、The BLACK wire from the switch goes directly to the negative or ground of the source or battery. Note: This will be the only ground or common connection to the source or battery.
三、The RED wire is the actual switched wire. It switches the ground or common connection of the load to the source or battery. The red wire of the switch connects to the load common or ground.

None of THREE worked.. Bought one at Home Depot and it worked fine.. This was a total waste of HOURS of my time.. Should not even get one star..

I liked the Sensor for Outdoor Lighting because it is possible to attached to any kind of light.

Too small for the hole that is in my outdoor light post. They look just fine.
