These things are a pain to install, but they work fine, and the issue comes more from the design of the heater than this wick.

My heater model is a DH 2304 & the DH 145 wick, I had used before. For some reason recently I bought a supposed compatible different wick that did not fit. I went back to the DH 145 & I am happy I did & will get again.

I am female and changed this myself. First time I found a YouTube video and had a mess. I checked the directions in the package and found a QR that took me to a video on how to correctly install. I'm going to order another to have it handy. Shipping was fast.
