This is not the yarn to crochet curtains with (my initial objective), as it is very similar in weight, stiffness and texture as the craft hemp my daughter uses for friendship bracelets. However, I can use it for beading projects, dreamcatchers, macrame etc, it's good quality and there's a lot of it.

The colors I received (vintage orange/turquoise/aqua green/natural) were not as dark/bright as I expected (More pastel than I thought) I am still happy with the product and the colors are still nice. Really good, strong 8/4 warp thread. I made a 3/4 inch band on a rigid heddle loom and it worked well. This is poly cotton which is very strong but not as soft as pure cotton.

This is sturdy. It doesn't stretch much, which is critical for a warp. If you're coming from kniting or crochet, I'd classify this as close to sock weight. It's tightly spun, similar in feel to a dishcloth cotton. I found no knots and no issues when warping with this.
