the paper is adequate for my mapping purposes, not sure why you would be getting paper this size but for tables where people eat or some other reason, i think it will cut the mustard with ease.i have enough to last a long time, not sure i would need it again, how many times can you map the same area?i suppose hundreds, look at all the state maps there are

Not just for kids art over the years, but all kinds of miscellaneous home uses. The most unique use in the past was: Helped someone put a row of this paper across their (from the inside) garage windows (instead of curtains etc) so people could not see in. It actually looked nice and smooth from the outside. But mainly used for art, paper crafts, giftwrapping etc.

I bought a size the width of my birds flight cage and it's what I use to cover the bottom. Cut about 2" or so longer that the length, fold over the sides and ends, put in the bottom . He occassionally chews on the paper at the bottom of the cage so this doesn't have any ink which was a concern for me. I've been using banner paper for over 5 yrs now. Saves me money and worry free. Love it.

I was expecting something closer to grocery bag thickness. This partially my fault as i did not know what thickness I needed when I purchased this paper. However the description does not do a good job of explaining how thick this paper is.I wanted a white material that could be used for gift wrap/ homemade gift bags, etc. This is like halfway between copy paper and grocery bag. Not quite there. It is not transparent but does let a bit of color or light show through from underneath. I wanted fully opaque. It is a good thickness to lay out on the table for the kids to color on while I'm making dinner. Probably also good to play play doh on.Not what I bought it for

I stopped getting a newspaper so I didn't know what to get that would be eco friendly but also not super expensive. There was no way I was going to do "washable cage liners" yuck.Yeah I have to cut it to size every week but it does everything I need it to.
