Needle felt kits come in 3 different sizes of felting needles, the different felt needles are packaged in needle bottles with cute size labels for easy identification. Wipe the protective oil from the needle with a small rag before use.

I am a complete beginner when it comes to needle felting. I've looked up maybe 1 tutorial video on it. I've watched more videos ( but random tiktoks with finished projects don't count), that got me obsessed with trying it out for myself!As a complete beginner, the kit comes with all good starter bits (I'm assuming so, because there wasnt anything telling me what each item in the kit was)It came with instructions, on how to make the dogs and theres a QR code for a video tutorial (which I haven't looked at yet so maybe the video tutorials teach you about the tools first?)I can use my skills of deduction to guess what each item is used for with my limited knowledge. Like the grey puffed pad, to work on, or the Needle felting needles themselves.I can Obviously tell the Wool apart from the keychain loops and the finger protectors.But im not sure what the soft pink sheet is for, or the yellow stabby stick.I can assume the little silver looped stick things are for the keychain. Unfortunately some of my little silver loopy sticks came bent, one of them was very much bent. But since I have the strength of a human and not a butterfly I think I can manage to bend it back to its original shape with no issues.Other than I'm a beginner, and I only know the names for some of things that came with the kit I'm still happy with the purchase and look forward to learning Needle felting!I think I'll have to see how to view these video tutorials are for the projects inside the box, but when in doubt I can search it out!Also, definitely not for kids! Use your finger protectors. I Stabbed myself 5 times (2 on my thumb 1 on my pointer finger) in the matter of like... 20 minutes because I told myself "oh I'm careful, I won't stab myself." When working with a borrowed larger gauge Needle without the finger covers, before I got this kit. Thankfully I have yet to porcupine my poor fingers since getting this kit. Turns out with my trial (before kit) ball i was making, I needed a smaller guage to continue! This kit taught me something through trial and error!Anyway if your like me, where you get an obsession for like 100 different art projects at once, this is definitely one to pick up!P.s the higher the number on the gauge, the smaller the needle (thank you random Youtube tutorial)

Nice kit and it has everything you need to start the project. My daughter is 9 year old and was able to follow the instructions and finish an animal. She was very happy that she can make her own gifts for her friends.

The quality of the supplies is very good. Lots of extra needles and items to do project more than once. Great introduction to needle felting.

The instructions weren’t great. There was a a QR link that went to a video but no voice over. Between the included instructions and the video I muddled through. I did poke myself several times and ouch. The needles are very sharp. It was enjoyable and I think it’s just something that gets easier over time. I’m excited to try another little doggie.
