Duck Max Strength Brand Rolled Window Insulation Kits feature a puncture-resistant rolled film that is two times thicker than standard window kits to create an added barrier between the outdoor air and your home's inside. These heavy-duty window insulation kits help to block drafts that lead to high heating costs and are great for high-traffic or pet-friendly households. Our window kit film comes in an easy-to-use roll of shrink film, which means no measuring needed — simply cut the extra film off once applied. Plus, they are made with crystal clear shrink film for good visibility and are easy to install and remove. For best results, use on clean and dry surfaces, such as painted or finished wood, aluminum or vinyl.

Taped doesn't hold up. I cleaned the surface as usual with alcohol and then waited for it to dry. It stuck just fine at first and I used a heat gun to heat shrink the plastic as directed. Checked it a month later and the tape had come lose at the bottom corner of 2 our of 3 windows. Doesn't do any good if it doesn't stick.

The thicker film provides added durability, making it suitable for high-traffic areas or homes with pets. The roll format allows for easy customization to fit various window sizes.Installation is straightforward, though some users mention a learning curve for first-time users. The included tape adheres well to most surfaces, creating a tight seal. Many find that using a hair dryer to shrink the film results in a nearly invisible barrier. The kit is designed for single-season use and is not reusable. Additionally, while the film is clear, it may have a slight haze compared to bare windows. The Duck MAX Strength Window Insulation Kit offers a cost-effective way to improve home insulation and reduce heating costs. Its heavy-duty construction and ease of use make it a solid choice for homeowners looking to winterize their windows.

I recently moved to a new apartment, 2nd floor of a 2 family house. There are several crawl spaces that have little to no insulation due to it being an older house. The owner had them lined with insulation but during those extremely cold days, you can feel a draft coming in.I tried a few different options, including weatherproof insulation tape before coming across this. I was a little skeptical seeing how I was planning on using it for more than my windows but once I followed the quick video and got an idea how it works I was confident about the product and the quality of the materials you get. After seeing how the product worked, simply measure and give yourself some room to work as well. The height on the door was my concern but I can easily seeing this cover a window size of 5 feet. After trimming off the excess, run a hairdryer on high around the edges where the tape and plastic meet being careful as you go. The size and look aren't a bother. The tape sticks very well and after 24 hours I can say this product works great.

Used on both my patio doors and all 10 windows. Excellent quality, easy roll across and cut design, thick, sturdy, tape in place holds perfectly, great value for money, when I blow dryed sealed it was taunt, clear, effective. Perfectly shrink wrapped.Drafts were immediately gone. Made a huge difference keeping out the winter drafts and holding in the heat. Would definitely buy again and highly recommend.I bought both patio size and xl window size.

I have multiple rooms with window AC units. Very hard to find covers to fit some of them. I tried ordering two different sets and was only able to find a cover that fit one. I noticed that that really helped keep the heat in the room. We do have central heat and air. One of the rooms, where I couldn't find a cover for the AC unit, was a lot colder than the main part of the house. After I put the insulation on both windows in the room an hour later I checked the temperature at the window AC unit I had a thermometer and I had another thermometer inside the room. There was a 7° difference. I checked and the temperature in that room was around the same as the main part of the house. I highly recommend as a alternative to removing your window AC unit or finding a cover for it. Not too difficult to install. I did a little different than the directions. I put all the tape up first and cut the plastic before attaching it at the top and then I just pulled it out and slowly moved it down to the bottom of the window. Even if it's not exactly even as long as it's sealed on all sides once you use the blow dryer it should snug up a bit and be fine. I'm sure it's going to help the electric bill and it will be keeping the room warmer, which is great! Please excuse the dirty blinds and window area in general. We are a dog rescue and have 21 dogs in house. I get a little bit behind and cleaning and just wanted to hurry up and put the insulation up to keep them warm as it's going to be getting really cold over the next few days.

This product was easier to install than I was expecting, works great, and is barely visible. It was easy to stretch it taught with a hair dryer and it stuck well to my window despite having a narrow awkward space to stick it. I had no problem with the tape backing like some of the other reviews. I used this to insulate a long floor to ceiling window and had plenty left over.

to be fair, i’ve only had this up for less than 24 hours, but already my apartment is much warmer. the heater turned off for the first time in a month lol. pennsylvania is about to get hit with super low temps & my windows are from 1970 & super drafty, so i got these to help prevent my electric bill from being almost $200 again. super easy to install, the adhesive works great even though i forgot to clean the windowsills, most of the wrinkles went away after using the hairdryer so we can still see through the windows clearly. overall i recommend this, especially if you have drafty windows! hoping my electric bill will finally go back down now that these are up. will definitely use again next winter!

I used this product a few years ago and the film came as a folded sheet. It was extremely difficult for a single person to handle and install. The new method of the film on a role makes it super easy to install. I used a heat gun on low setting and have never had any issue with the tape not holding. The product keeps ice of our windows in up to -40 deg C weather on rather crappy old windows (aluminum sliders) and is easy to remove in the spring. Thanks for providing a good product at a good price!

I read some of the reviews and was sceptical on the quality, but man it works great on our travel trailer windows, we’re in the middle of a large renovation on our so we’re living in our trailer, and Inused the product to help with window insulation, boy what a difference it added, I’m a carpenter so I can speak to the ease of the install, for my it was a peace of cake. Great product, would recommend and buy again.

This is the best quality and easiest install window kit I've ever used. Much more reasonably priced than some brand names and I found the quality to be superior. Adhesive was great, nice thick film that does tear.
