The product arrived earlier than expected and does the job. A bit fiddly so make sure you read instructions and view videos before you start.

Size was more then enough, not very thick but was very effective. Strength was good. Insulation was very effective and no hot air hot in. Peeling is easy as well

These thing can get expensive. Best price I found so far. They do a great job keeping the draft out of the house. Lifesaver. Tape is very strong. Does minimal damage to paint. Durable never had an issue with peeling. Very clear once you blow dry it.

The first time I installed this I put it on the window frame, and while that definitely helped with the cold air from the 4 large old windows along the front of our home, I could still feel a draft. I soon determined that was because the "frame" was an old metal decorative frame, not what one would traditionally be thought I'd as a window frame, and not something I could easily replace or seal. So, I removed the plastic and redid it (with new plastic as I needed it to be wider). It was a little more difficult to get it tight enough that heat application would make it pretty much invisible again, with just a little more effort than the first time around, it came out perfect. This makes a big difference in the warmth of our living room. We have an old home with old single pane windows, so this solution is not 100% blocking. You can still feel that the plastic is cold to the touch, but there are zero drafts. Adding pleated shades (thermal blackout curtains would work too) is the final piece that keeps those ancient windows from driving up our winter heating costs. These were easy to install, just follow the directions and they go on just as stated. The only mistake I made was not pulling the plastic tight enough on the first window. I was concerned about tearing the plastic, but I was worrying for nothing. I pulled it plenty tight on the next 3 windows and there little to no wrinkles. Once heat was applied it tightened the rest of the way to become essentially invisible. I would highly recommend this product.

I had previously used the cheap film from Dollarama. The film would loosen up over time and get unsightly. The Duck film stays smooth and tight once heat shrinked in and stay clear. Also the sticky tape comes off easily at the end of winter. The cheap stuff leaves a messy residue that's difficult to remove. It's worth spending the extra money on the Duck brand.

I bought this because we have a loft that faces directly into the sun and gets very hot during the summer months. There is now window we can open for any air flow and the AC just doesn’t do well in reaching that area. We can’t get a portable ac because there is no window in which we can put the vent to blow out the hot air created. So far it’s working great. It was not that easy to install for me. I did it by myself. I measured out the tape and placed it then I cut out the plastic. I should have only taken the plastic off of the tape when I was ready to put the wrap on that particular area but I didn’t. So it started off a mess with the wrap sticking all over the place and I’d have to go back and attempt to remove it in order to smooth it out and place it correctly on the tape again. Not sure if that made sense. It was a rather large window, about 6 feet by 4 feet.Lesson learned and it’s still doing the job so far. The hottest months are yet to come so we shall see how it does.

I bought this plastic shrink wrap for my windows because I have a home built in the 1950’s. We’ve lived in the house for 7 years. Every winter our windows condensate and I’m constantly battling the constant water, like a faucet turned on running down the windows and mildew on the single paned, wood windows. This year I said, no more. Found this product. Bought the patio door plastic for a large picture window and I also bought the other window kit offered by the duck brand for our other windows. These kits work amazing. I did them all by myself but I would not suggest this for the patio plastic kit, it was very difficult. Regretfully, I ended up taking down the plastic over my picture window because I had installed it to late when my windows were starting to moisturize and they were cold. The sticky tape was loosening in some spots and moisture was getting on the window. As far as my other windows were I used this plastic, they are all securely in tact and I have no moisture or mildew. I had installed the plastic on these windows while the weather was warm. I feel like that is key to getting adhesion on the window frame. Our house is not feeling drafty like it was the past years and there’s no cold emmiting from the windows. I would definitely buy this product again. Just be sure to install this product when it’s still warm if you have older windows.
