How to Adjust Tension and Tilt Angle?

dual monitor arm

The gas spring is pre-set to minimum tension. Depending on the weight of your actual monitor, you may need to adjust the tension of arm with 6mm Allen key.

  • Please confirm your monitor's size is within 32'', the VESA pattern is 75x75mm or 100x100mm, and weight is 4.4-19.8lbs. Your desk thickness is 0.39''-2.76''(clamp mount); or thickness of 0.39''-2.76''and hole diameter of 0.39''-2.36''(grommet mount).

  • If your desk thickness is more than 2.76'', just freely to relate with us for a suitable longer clamp.

  • If your VESA pattern is 200x100mm or 200x200mm, please go to purchase a VESA extender adapter, the model number is MU9010. If your VESA exceeds the above range or has no VESA holes, you will need to purchase a suitable VESA adapter.

  • You could adjust the tilting bolt for the monitor.

    1. Loosen the bolt 1-2 turns with the Allen Key

    2. Hold the monitor with both hands and adjust it to the right position

    3. Tighten the bolt firmly with the Allen Key

  • Please note that when out of the factory, the value of the gas spring is generally adjusted to the minimum value which makes the arms lean forward. You could refer to the instruction manual to adjust the value according to the weight of your monitor.

Great value for the money! Very versatile mounting options and easy installation. Some reviews stated it wouldn’t support the weight of their monitors. I have two 32” monitors, each weight over 18 lbs. and when properly adjusted, easily holds the monitors in place. The adjustments needed to support are somewhat counter-intuitive. In order to support a heavier monitor, the adjustments needed is made counterclockwise.Once mounted, the monitors are moved into desired location with minimal effort.Highly recommend this for a low-cost, dual monitor mounting solution.

I have never had a monitor mount before, and i have two very expensive monitors that need proper support, one being 17 lbs and the other 16 lbs. Some of the reviews on this said it doesnt work right or their monitors are tilting forward. But if you know how to read instructions properly, and follow them, It's really not a hard setup at all, i was able to do it myself. This mount is fantastic for your monitors. 5/5 highly recommend them.

I love how secure this is to the desk and to the monitors. Installation was very simple, and it’s easier to have a second set of hands when attaching the actual monitor to the stand.I’m using two wide-screen 27” monitors and the only issue I’m having is that I cannot pull the monitors close enough towards me while keeping them both side by side and tilted slightly inwards at the middle. My desk is pretty deep, so I need them closer to me. The two bar mounts at the base are too close together, and they can’t be moved outwards. If the base was wider and the two base mounts were more spread apart then it would be perfect. I’m not sure how effective this mount would be for 32” monitors considering I’m having this issue with 27” monitors.I’ll probably keep this item and make it work.

Had an issue with the first one and had to have a working stand that day so used a pair of singles. the vender sent an email asking if I like the stand when I told them the issue, It may have been me or thearm I didn't have time to screw with it when I was setting it up. They sent me a new one to try . It went r together quickly and worked perfectly. things to know. Make sure to tighten the little screws in the base of the arms so the arms swing but don't pop up and off. to make the up down arm stiffer make sure you are turning the adjusting bolts the correct way Mine turned COUNTER CLOCKWISE to stiffen it up. to get the tilt right tighten the bolt so it is stiff but still moves sit in front and get the tilt the way you want it have a friend hold it still while you tighten the screw so it doesn't droop. It can be done without help but it can be a pain to get the tilt right and the screw tightened without help.

I was able to snag a couple of 27" ViewSonic monitors from my employer. There was only one desk mount available at the time and I haven't been able to find the exact brand online. I finally decided to buy this desk mount since the price was right and it looked somewhat similar in design. The box had an overwhelming amount of parts, but I didn't need most of them. It probably took me 20-25 minutes to assemble & install. I love the bonus cable covers on the backside of the arm and base that easily fit my power & monitor cords. The base even had slots to store the adjusting tools if I ever want to tilt my screen. Which is fantastic because I always lose these kinds of tools! While this desk mount a little stiffer when moving than my other one, it has the same range in motion without adjusting any screws (left to right and up/down).If you haven't owned one of these before and you plan on having a desk close to the wall, you'll want to attach the desk mounts and get the monitors in the position you want before you push the desk back to the wall. You can swing the monitor somewhat afterwards, but the wall will restrict the full range of motion. Same if you put them on the side of the desk, towards the back. There are extra parts included if you want to drill a hole somewhere on the desk and secure it so your desk can sit flush with the wall, but that will require the bottom part of the arm to be positioned sideways. Since there is no way to lock the bottom part from moving, you'd have to be mindful of it possibly hitting the wall still while moving the top swivel. I bought this specifically for a basement desk that is in the middle of a room. That way I can swivel the monitors around to the back of my desk and do whatever I want while attending work meetings that don't require cameras to be on.
