Works great. Clear images. Here are some helpful hacks: The pipes I needed to scope were underground yard water drains. They still had water and some mud in them that ruined the camera images when submerged. So I put the camera through a hole in the bottom of small, plastic bottle that fit in the pipe which kept it above the water and out of the mud. Worked great. Another problem was getting the semi rigid cable around some corners. Tape the cable to a clean out snake cable. Still flexible but won’t bend back on itself.

Very good borescope for the money. Good image quality, long reach, pushes through pipe, fairly rigid.

You'll be looking for ways to use this device!Nothing is more satisfying then solving a problem with this thing. The screen being part of your device is really handy, as I have had similar scopes that connect to your phone. The phone connection sounded nice but the execution was a struggle with the connection coming loose and always readjusting the phone viewing angle. This device allows you to hold the screen with one hand and guide with the other. The resolution is pretty good and you can easily zoom or take a photo of what is seen on the screen. The scope cord is not super long, however any longer and you'd lose any ability to accurately move it.Recommended! Even if you use it once a year you'll feel like a hero.

The Teslong NTS430 is a fantastic unit. It is a professional grade inspection camera. It has a very large and clear display. I did purchase it to look at a drain and that worked as expected. It has a metal hanging bar on the bottom end of the grip so I keep it handy for more of a ‘finding’ tool. The flashlight is quite bright. I drop a lot of things throughout the day and the cats continually relocate items and before I get down on the ground or move furniture it is really nice to know where and what I am looking for is there — first!

Just received the Teslong inspection borescope/camera today and I must say, it looks better than I expected. While I cannot speak to the longevity of this unit, I can say that the build quality looks very good, especially for a borescope at this price point. This unit came fully charged and seems quite easy to operate, and the instruction manual is simple and easy to understand. The screen is clear and is also adequate in size. The brightness settings are a great feature, as well as the ability to take pictures and record video when using a memory card.I am anxious to use this as I have wanted one of these for a long time. Even though I don't have a specific use for it, I am sure it will come in handy in the future as I tinker with my cars out in my garage.Based on first impressions, I would highly recommend the NTS430 Teslong Borescope.

I bought a used house, and found that the bathtub drain runs slow. I’ve plunged and snaked, but to no avail. So I thought an endoscope might help me spot the problem. The Teslong Inspetion Camera seemed like the right tool for the job. With only 3.3Ft of snake, it’s just enough to reach the bath trap without having yard and yards of extra cable getting in the way Very convenient! The camera images are stunningly crystal clear. The front-view and side-view cameras did an excellent job of showing orientation, and progress as I pushed it down into the drain. It’s ergonomically designed with a handle-grip, so I never feared dropping the endoscope out of my wet hands. Operation was very simple. Long press to change the mode from front, to side, to split front/side, and then repeat. There’s a easy LED brightness button, which I had to turn off due to blinding reflections inside the drain.Unfortunately because the snake is semi-rigid, it wouldn’t “turn” through the trap. It just bonks into a dead-end. In short, while IP67 waterproof, this camera really isn’t suited to snake through drains. For drain/sewer work, Teslong makes a “sewer camera” which is specifically designed for making “S” or “L” shaped bends.I’m deducting just 1 star from my review because this isn’t a “flexible cable sewer camera” as advertised. It’s more suited as a “waterproof semi-rigid inspection camera” for use in confined spaces, like engine compartments, crawl spaces, etc. If you look at the photo that I’ve uploaded, I’m holding the endoscope upright, with the light shining on a wall. You can see the cable is so rigid that it supports its own weight. This feature is what makes it unsuitable for sewer work.I’m looking forward to this camera making future, non-plumbing projects easier.
