A common problem with the 1.4t ecotec engines (Sonic,Cruze,Trax Encore etc..) is that this turbo oil feed tube gets very HOT as it sits right by the Exhaust manifold, essentially baking Oil inside the tube clogging it like an artery with too much cholesterol, starving the turbo of Much needed clean oil to lubricate itself. Changing this tube regularly will help keep the turbo from premature failure. Older 1.4l didn't have a heat shield on them, and were retrofit with ones with a heat shield such as this. HOWEVER, the heat shield on This unit is NOT as thick as the OEM replacements, Nor does it look like what is pictured. I don't feel like it would honestly do much. I will be changing it out soon, but i may try to salvage the OEM Shielding from the older tube.

So this piece fit our 2013 Chevrolet Cruze but we had to be extremely careful not to strip the threading.

The product is for my Chevy Cruz 2015. It’s the oil supply line it was not right and after I took the old one off I could not use the new one, so I had to take the O-rings off of the new one before I could drive my car so I’m stuck with the one I bought because I use Parts off of the one that wasn’t any good
