we packed frozen meat in our cooler lined and topped with the sheets of dry ice. 2.5 days later, EVERYTHING, ice, meat and all was still frozen solid. Great product.

If these needs to be soaked in water first, then when they melt, obviously the water is going to come right back out and flood whatever you are trying to keep cold. No thanks. Too messy!

Item holds the frozen aspect all day long, especially in my husband’s yeti. One thing I don’t like is the fact that they can and will split or if you overfill them they’ll burst and then you’ve got this gunk everywhere.

I live this type of ice packs fir my shopping bags. We drive from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours for shopping and cold packs ate a must. These get hydrated by soaking a few minutes in water. After that, they stack flat and store in freezer for easy access when needed. I much prefer these to various shaped ice packs. In my shopping bags or cooler these wrap around the food items so nicely. I can buy ice cream at the military base and it is still well frozen after we stop for lunch and drive 90 minutes back home.I know this is a lot to buy but the price is reasonable and I plan to share a few with my daughter.

Quickly freezing

We traveled from Wisconsin to Florida staying overnight 2 times. These packs stayed almost completely frozen in our cooler. We rarely opened the cooler to keep it cold. Once we reached our destination we used them to keep our food cold and frozen until our fridg and freezer in our trailer was ready. They are great we have told several people about them. Would buy more or again if needed.
