Added this to my down stairs set up and it has been great. It looks good and adds a bit of grip to a wood floor. Only thing that you might want to keep in mind is if you have pets. This is a dirt collector for sure. It WILL get dirty fast and will need to have up keep. If that's not a deal breaker then it will serve you well.

This is a really nice big drum rug. I ordered the larger option but for my simple 5 piece kit, I would have been fine with the smaller one. The top of the rug is the type of fabric that will catch on the kick drum feet and the feet of the cymbal stands nicely while also remaining durable and easy to clean. The bottom has little rubber dots on it to help it resist slipping when you’re really driving that bass drum home. The top of the rug also holds tape well, if you’re a working drummer that wanted to tape or paint where everything goes to make setting up your kit quicker. My only complaint that I deducted one star for is that the rug is not super heavy, and due to being folded over and wrapped super tight, it stays super creased and lumpy and is hard to get to lay totally flat. I am hoping that over time with drums on it, it will eventually just lay flat on its own as I am not the type to spend a bunch of time ironing a drum rug to get it to lay flat. I think rolling the rug would probably be a better option although that would likely make it a bit harder to ship. At any rate, the functionality is definitely there, and this drum rug is high quality and should last a long time whether it’s just going to be sitting under the drums in your basement forever or getting moved from one gig to the next!

This drum rug stays in place and absorbs sound well. I'm actually using it to put under my indoor cycle setup and it works very well for this. I'm sure it would work equally well for drums.

Nice material, good size. Using it for both acoustic and electric drum sets. Keeps them from slipping and moving across the floor. Can't seem to get the creases out from it being folded for shipment, though.

I’m sure it’s perfect for setting your drums on. I actually use for exercising practices. It has a very good slip for resistance and firm material. I recommend this product for the price.

My son has both electric and an acoustic drum kits, but the pedals for the electric kit kept sliding. This drum mat solves that problem. It's the perfect size for a standard kit and it keeps everything from sliding. It feels well made and durable, and looks sharp under the drum kit. It serves it's purpose well. This was a great addition to my sons kit.

I have been a drummer and had many in my studio. Some are heavy footed enough I need to us kick pedal spikes to hold in place. Not sure how this mat will stand up to the spikes and I may need augment another mat for the pedal and kick drum.Aside from that I think is a good mat and will cover a pretty large kit.

The product comes folded, once unfolded it take a while to get the pleats out or you can iron them out

Tried this under a chair for the non slip part - it did not stop the chair from slipping. it is still useful. Just need to find a different placement for it where the non slip does not matter as much.
