Man this is pretty cool. My cluster on my 04 silverado has been dead for years. Nothing but the gas gauge worked, and that was when it wanted to. I watched a YouTube video, and did it my self. Was simple. Soldering gun everything is there you need, I replaced all the stepper motors and light bulbs. Everything works just fine! I'm super happy with this, now let's see how long it last.

Went ok until the last stepper motor would not take a good solder joint. Now having to bring it to the phone shop for a jumper wire.Sucker worked ok. The iron seems under powered and had to wait for it to warm back up between joints. Also took time for the solder to melt when directly contacting the solder gun.

After pulling my cluster apart and ready to install the bulbs I realized the bulbs weren't led my fault for not reading, installed them anyway and glad I did it plenty bright and now all my gauges and light work. I don't have much experience but was that hard to install

Los utilice para una Suburban 2004, tración trasera, no tenía funcionando tacómetro, velocímetro dos focos, así como la medida de bomba de aceite, nivel de gasolina estaban mal, hice el retiro y soldadura con el cautín que funciona perfecto, la soldadura me alcanzó muy bien, los foco ocupe blancos, en México por un solo motor cobran 1200 pesos por cambiarlo, y con este kit por menos de mil pesos, le hice el cambio de los 6 motores que lleva mi clúster, la verdad lo recomiendo al 100% tienen que por lo menos saber soldar, si no saben mejor paquen a alguien pero por lo menos ya tienen las piezas, veamos que tal dura. El tiempo de envio fue un día menos de lo que indicaban.100 % recomendable.

Fast shipment. Quality of soldering iron was better than expected. The solder sucker worked well and made things a breeze. The only issue I had was the speedometer stepper motor would shoot up to like 20km/h while revving engine past 2000 rpm in park. Not sure whether that is due to unrelated circuit board issues or defective steppers motors. Either way, I can live with it for the price.

All needed to do the job.It was easy with all this tools, I chane the 6 stepper motors on my gmc envoy 2006, with the help of few videos from youtube, I change 4 LED too, the iron tip has no too much quality, but it's included for this job only and it worked very well and the soldering socker too, the stepper motor are working very well so far. This kit is 5 star for me.

This item has worked fine so far. It was easy to install on my 05 Hummer H2. It took a little practice to get the solder sucker to work. Push the top piece all the way down until it clicks and stays and then press the small button half way down about where your thumb would rest to suck the solder in. As soon as you have the old solder melted you need to press the button. I found it best to do this while the solder tip was still at the old solder.I used the red lights since they do not destroy your night vision and are much easier to focus on at night. The red lights came out great. The pic is just a test fit without the outer frame on. I found this easiest to ensure the needles were in the correct location. The other lights showing on the dash are due to repairs that I was doing at the same time as this install and are not due to any problems with the product.I have not driven my H2 for any distance since the install because I’m doing some other repairs, but I’ll edit my review if there are any issues.I would definitely recommend this product if your dash gauges are not working or working intermittently.

Everything you need in a small package and a cinch to install. I replaced all my stepper motors in a few minutes and was very pleased with the results. Minimal soldering skill required which you can learn by watching a simple Youtube video. Highly recommend this product. Time will tell if the repair is lasting, but since kit included8 stepper motors and I only needed 6, I now have 2 spare stepper motors in case a future repair is needed.
