We needed a small, lockable box with a slot for inserting envelopes. This safe easily fulfills that purpose. We keep it in another lockable cabinet for additional security. It is small, light and easily portable. It would not be able to defeat a forced entry. I can recommend it for low security purposes.

I bought this safe as a replacement. 8 months later the only way to get into the safe is with the key. If I put in the code and turn the dial it won’t open up. I tried to Google a phone number for the manufacturer and there is only a number which is a fax number and no way to contact the manufacturer. Amazon only allows replacements up to 30 days. I would have hoped a safe would have lasted more than 8 months. I would also thought you could find customer if there were any problems. Especially since the safes are securely bolted and should be more durable. Really frustrated with Amazon also. I got disconnect 4 times on the customer service chat and I finally asked for someone to call me, which they did, but they then put me on hold for about 20 minutes not understanding what they were trying to do. They never came back on the line and they disconnected. I tried to call back and got an automated person.

This is a nice safe for the reasonable price range. It's easy to program the access code and the backup key is handy. I gave this to my 10 year old son for a Christmas present, and he likes this more than the Nintendo Switch he also received on the same day. The little slot on the door is perfect for when he gets his allowance, as he can just put the money into the safe without having to open the door. He also puts his favorite toys and small items in the safe and I regularly hear the beep-beep-beep as he is still using the safe months later.

Opens and closes easily. Lock is battery operated. Not a very tough build, but to protect low amount of money or not large valued objects, it seems nice.

Simple, easy to use and relatively solid. Got this to act as a cash drop box for our small business. The slot is large enough to accept a variety of sized envelopes and other reasonably thin items. The lock mechanism functions well and the buttons are easy enough to push. For the price its a pretty good product. Easy to attach to whatever surface you want to mount it. I haven't tested it with a hammer or a blowtorch - nor will I, as it is not billed to be a high tensile, super strong fort knox safe. It is however perfect for use as a temporary cash drop!
