It looks like it is going to be a good safe the only thing is mine won’t lock… I looked for ways to get in contact with the seller but couldn’t find anything so I’m hoping this will work. Would love to change my rating to 5 stars

The combination of a digital lock and spare keys offers flexibility and peace of mind. The design is practical, allowing for easy deposit of cash or documents through the slot without needing to open the safe frequently. It's sturdy, giving us confidence that our items are protected. The size is just right for our needs, fitting well in a discreet location. This safe has become an essential part of our security measures, helping us manage cash flow and protect important documents with ease.

After dealing with a theft last summer, this safe gives us some much-needed peace of mind when people are in our home. It’s heavy, solid, and definitely not something someone could just grab and run off with. That said, if someone had enough time, they could probably break into it, so it’s more about deterring quick theft than being an impenetrable fortress. One thing to note—the drop slot is super convenient for cash or small items, but it also makes this a terrible option for fire protection. If you're storing important documents, I’d highly recommend putting them in a fireproof bag inside the safe. Overall, a good security boost for everyday use, but not a full-proof solution.

Anything I say here is more a comment on light gauge lock boxes as a group rather than as a comment on this particular product. The correct use for this class of lock box is as to keep honest people honest. Because this, or any lock box in it's class, is not going to deter a real thief for long. But, if you anchor the box by screwing it to some substrate, it would take a thief a minute or 3 to get in and it is going to make noise. And, for some reason, thieves want to be quick and quiet. The door steel is 8 gauge (.165''), which is pretty healthy but the sides are 12 ga (.10'') which can be gotten through easily (but noisily). This boils down to, what are your needs and what are your expectations? As long as your needs and expectations are in line with this class of security, this product will work nicely. But don't trust the family jewels or passports, deeds, heirlooms, gold bullion, etc., to this type of lock box. I've got a 1,200 pound fireproof gun safe back in one room in my house but I have some stuff that I don't trust to even that. So I also have a safe deposit box at my bank. There are levels to everything. This box is nicely finished and is a solid member of its' type. The instruction manual is interesting, telling you to push buttons that don't exist or to put in numbers without explaining they are or for. But that's okay, without much trouble, I have it opening to my code and that's all I need. You can open it with a code or keys if the battery is dead or you forget the code.I'm giving it 3 stars not because I found anything wrong or subpar with it, but because it's pretty much smack in the middle of its type and price range. Just understand its purpose and limitations. And also understand the same limitations will apply to every lock box in this price range.
