Economical, solid, and durable. The wheels work smoothly and the extensible pole is sturdy. Super easy to assemble. Perfect for home use, exactly what we needed to administer subcutaneous fluids to our cat. I don’t often write reviews, but I am really pleased with this inexpensive purchase that has made our lives much easier.

Liked the price, it folds down some, thing I didn’t like is the base wheels don’t retract so difficult to completely fold to store

If you're doing Sub-Q fluids, gravity is your friend. Stop hanging the fluid bag off your kitchen cabinet door handle, and buy this pole. The max height makes it go *so* much faster and easier.Attaching the "feet" is a little tricky, and would probably be easier with two people, because you have to cross the wheeled bars and insert the pole through the hole in the intersection. I did it myself by laying the pole horizontally on a box and attaching the feet in that position (perpendicular to the floor). I hope that helps someone, because it's totally worth the five minutes of annoyance. It's sturdy and rolls easily, and balances fine with a 1000 ml bag on one side. A total steal for the price. Do yourself a favor, and cut yourself some slack while you're at it. You're doing great, and my thoughts are with you.

I needed a stable IV Pole for my ailing cat that needs weekly IV so didn't want very expensive. This Economy IV met with reasonable price. Quality of construction A plus. Simple and sturdy PROBLEM? No instructions !! there were simple elements but no indication if I could slam the wheel frame with hammer to join - and I had two unidentified washers. I didn't want to put together the wheels and pole until I knew where they went. It may turn out whobbly. Tip over; One was small and thin ring; the other 'usual' size.It took me 3 hours to track down HOW TO FIND the Company. and get actually help. I tried finding a Video - no luck. I did successfully go back into the order and found Amazon listed if a customer needed additional manufacturer info. That got me to their website, then rooted around another area - out of website - back in and found CHAT ...hours were until 6 pm and its 5:45 pm. I couldn't get info in time to give cat treatment. WORN OUT.All this needed was the factory in China to put the Instructions inside the box OR tell us how to find support in the USA.The old addage "for want of a nail - a horse was lost'.... eventually the battle is lost over the simplest of errors. Chat did find me a Manual actually a two sided small brouchure where the outline did not match my economy purchase and did not show me where the two washers went! And then my phone screen shifted and I lost the 1st Chat; so I went back in and got another Chat and he took it as far as he could. He said there was no brochure for my model that what I got 'was all they had' and again I pointed out. The picture does not match what I have....Hours and hours every day ...I can recommed the product I CANNOT give any but one star to Assemble. It was a nighmare.

Needed an IV stand for doing subcu fluids for a cat. Wanted a tall one that would let us do them with the cat on the back of the couch and came down to two models off Amazon and I chose this one. No regrets. For the price this is a great IV stand. Everything I wish it did better, I'm unconvinced any others around this price point would do any better.Pros: - Handles the full bag of fluids with zero issues. Hangs well and securely so the bag can't fall from small jostling. - Tall when fully extended. - Has wheels. - Haven't had any stability or collapsing issues so far, after nearly two months of use. - Lightweight.Cons: - Wheels aren't great, I often end up just lifting it by the base of the pole and moving it where I want it. - It's really not easy to adjust. I've found it's far easier to just keep it locked at full height. - It can be a bit wobbly, I'm constantly paranoid of knocking it over. Though it's not as unstable as it can sometimes feel and we haven't had any issues yet, even when cats knock into it.

WARNING: THIS IS MEDICAL EQUIPMENT. That means that if it is defective, Amazon cannot accept a return of the item. This is not the company's fault. This is for your protection. Now, to my story:Like many others, I bought this for my cat, who needs fluids on a regular basis. I needed something that I could move around the house as she does. When it first arrived, I was really impressed by how heavy it was, given how little I paid for it. It was clearly going to be nice and sturdy and capable of holding bags of fluids. The downside came when I tried to put it together. The pole has to be turned upside down and the legs overlapped before sliding a bolt through both the legs and into the pole to screw everything together. The issue was that the bolt that came with the product was too small to actually screw into the threads in the pole. It would just spin without tightening anything.I figured this simply required a larger bolt, so I headed to the hardware store to pick up a new bolt. This did NOT work. While the new bolt was actually large enough to grip the threads in the pole, it was too large to slide through the holes in the legs (insert dirty joke here). I'm not entirely sure how the manufacturer managed to craft something so out of whack -- especially when they likely make hundreds of these each day -- but it left me with five metal pieces that ultimately wouldn't fit together without either drilling new holes or soldering everything together (which left me uneasy in case the solder failed).Because this is medical equipment, it could not be returned, even though it was defective. This is the big lesson learned here. I don't like it anymore than anyone else here. That said, I should have purchased something from a more reputable medical equipment company. It would have cost me more, but I would have known that the thing would work instead of ending up in the trash.
