This ribbed non-roll elastic are the strongest available elastic for waistband. Made of 79 percent polyester and 21 percent rubber. The added ribbed structures provide maximum strength to prevent the elastic from curling and rolling. They are used in a variety of applications including waist bands in shorts, skirts, pants, gloves, underwear, hats, shoes, garments, and etc. Machine wash and dry in temperatures up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Available in white color. Measures 36-Inch length by 3/4-Inch width.

This elastic seems to be good quality. I've washed it several times with no evidence of degradation.

I purchased this to replace the original elastic waistband in a pair of pajama pants. It works fine, but is a bit too stiff for pjs. Hoping it will soften as I wear & launder them.

I used regular elastic for a pair of Anna Allen's Pomona pants and it was awful. The elastic kept rolling despite my efforts to make it stay in place. I then found this elastic and replaced the other elastic with it. THOSE PANTS ARE AMAZING NOW. Buy it. You won't be sorry. I even took about 1/2 inch off of the width because the waist band was a little more narrow than intended and it still works like a dream!

These 2 packages of Dritz Ribbed Non-Roll Woven Elastic, White, 1/2-Inch by 1-Yard - arrived very quickly after ordering. They came in plenty of time for me to finish my "Foxes" PJ pants. They are brand new - in their original packaging - exactly as pictured. These are the perfect elastic for sewing projects involving waist bands, ankle bands, etc. - the do not flip or "roll-twist" while you are sewing.

This elastic did what it said. I used is for a pair of pants and it fit's nicely' they did not roll up as the pants were worn. It did not shift in any way.

This is a thick, good quality elastic that will not roll. I bought it to run through the bottom band of a top that looks more than 10 inches too big in the hip area, to make it look less like a maternity top & more for people like me whose hips are smaller than their bust. It will work well for this purpose, looks great. I am now going to order a smaller width for another top for the same purpose.
