I purchased this spool of gold cord to make box ties. For each tie, I cut a piece off the spool that was 18" long, and I kept count on how many pieces I ended up with. If there was 110 yards on the spool, I should have ended up with 220 pieces, but I only got 196, so the spool was obviously quite short on quantity. Additionally, there were three splices on the spool, each of which resulted in a tangle, so the quality wasn't very good, either. A couple weeks later, I purchased a 110 yard spool of silver from a different seller, which yielded 226 pieces and didn't have any splices. Needless to say, I'll be going with the second seller when I'm ready to purchase more.

I use this to tie on my card and or envelope to dress it up a bit. This Really spruses the card up. The elastic is great and it is easy to work with. Nice color too.
