I recommend this needle assortment for a variety of projects. They are of excellent quality and economical. I bought expensive sets that were not long enough or the eye not large enough. This set would have been quite adequate.Other reviews recommended them for the purpose I was intending. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I purchased 3 types of regular sewing needle sets recently.This item from Amazon US and 2 Prym products from Amazon DE. Among them, this one may be called the best, in that it has a greater number of needles in various sizes, the packaging of this item is better for storage and this product was also made by Prym in Czech the back label says it.The original Prym needle sets have beautiful packaging but it was subject to deformation during the international delivery while this item showed no deformation at all when I got this in my hand.It may be sufficient for home use over decades. I'm happy I purchased this one!!

It might sound strange, but I didn't buy these needles for sewing purposes.I needed small, yet firm needles to remove dirt and debris from tiny cracks and crevices. I have a bunch of old computer equipment (Mice, keyboards, etc.) that were in dire need of cleaning and I needed something small and sharp to get the dirt out between the plastic plates. I didn't use pens or pencils for fear of getting ink or graphite on the equipment, ice picks were too large to fit between the cracks, and the needles on push pins and thumb tacks were too small to effectively remove the dirt, but these needles did the trick. They managed to fit in the smallest of the cracks between the plastic plates on the mice and keyboards to remove the built-up dirt and gunk. You wouldn't believe the amount of filth these needles managed to dig out. Now my computer equipment all looks brand new!I also use them on shoes and boots as well. I have several pairs I wear for construction purposes and see a lot of time in the field and mud. Every now and then, I'll take one of these needles and dig out the caked-on dirt in-between the grooves on the bottom. Each needle is relatively sharp, some sharper than others, and they're all slightly different sizes; some thicker, some thinner. I imagine they would make great sewing supplies, but they also work incredibly well for non-sewing purposes as well. If you're looking for something relatively thin, yet firm and rigid enough to withstand a moderate amount of force to chip away at something or dig something out, these should do the trick.

I ordered these because I had some pants that needed to be mended (it was out of desperation having some embarrassing holes in my pants though my shirts covered the embarrassing parts temporarily).Just an amateur male here (I usually let the females do this for me).For an amateur my home DIY sewing was quite successful and after a month or so has held up until I get some new pairs of pants.No problems whatsoever with this product and quite a few needles too.Every household needs this type of item realistically.
