I was looking for quality needles to hand sew linen. I am a reenactor that creates 18th century clothing and hand sewing is a mainstay of what I do. I need needles with good points and so many are just no quality these days. A friend recommended the Colonial needles and I was not disappointed. Highly recommend for handwork on good fabrics.

However, these are tiny little needles! If you prefer small needles to sew with then these are for you!The eyes are a little larger making it easier to thread, and they are very good basic hand sewing needles.I was disappointed bc I thought they’d be physically longer.

These were recommended to me by a couple YouTubers who do a lot of historical hand-sewing, and they were totally correct. The craft stores near me have lots of nice machine needle options, but their sharps will bend on you and/or have wonky eyes. These are good quality, especially for the cost.
