I used these to bind the edges of an area rug with leather cording and they were EXACTLY what I needed! They come in several lengths to find the correct one for the job! Easy to thread and sturdy!

people that left bad reviews because the needles weren't what they expected clearly didn't pay attention to the details--these are a set of extra long needles of varying sizes, perfect for stitching through large spaces (in my case securing to each other distant anchor points inside stuffed crocheted items to keep their shape from deforming). it came with 6 needles (2" included seems to be a bonus!) and a long double-ended tube for storage. the longest ones are not perfectly straight, but this is hardly something to complain about as they can be gently bent to correct the deviation. on the whole these are precisely what they are claimed to be and are a great value for what you get.

I almost didn’t order these needles because of the reviews, but I am oh so glad I did. All of them were perfectly straight, strong & sturdy, and without burs. Every one of mine has a pointed end… as pointed as their intended purpose calls for, anyway. I am amazed at the quality of these for the little bit of $ I paid for them and delighted that I took the risk and ordered them.

A great deal to get a wide range of sizes.Note: The smallest 4" needle is a blunt point needle. It might look like the sharp end was broken off but if you look at some of the photographs it looks like it's not supposed to be sharp and instead is a blunt end needle. I tried a return and got the same set. The pictures in the listing are a bit misleading as some show all needles should be sharp but other show the smallest is blunt.
