Elastic in black! I'm clearly still relatively new to sewing, for that to be a surprise. The pattern I needed it for used it similar to a buckle inside a suitcase, to hold things in. I would have been incredibly disappointed if I had gone with white!

I have a small waist and big hips, which means all pants are way too big in the waist if they fit my hips. I add elastic to the back of the pants, and they fit well. This elastic is perfect for this purpose.

I have issues with the back of my pants, always gapping, and I added the elastic to the back half of my waistbands to help keep my pants from falling down. It’s a nice thick elastic and it worked great.
