The only calk gun I have used that actually is totally dripless even after you put it down and let it sit, it does not ooze a drop. It is also light weight, the cutter works better than most other guns and the wire to puncture the tube is in a good location and works well. I also like the trigger pressure and way caulk comes out of the gun. Works way Better than Newborn 212 HTD which is what I was using. Newborn will still ooze if you set it down and I hate the way it loads and the tube can get stuck. This gun loads super easy.

Works exactly as described. However, this is not for high viscosity caulks. Would definitely recommend for painters caulk.

Much better than the gun I've used before (and that was not cheap). Highly impressed with "no drip" feature. No need to pull back on the "plunger" to stop caulking. Highly recommended.

I've never given much thought to caulk gun design, but when my "fancy" gun broke while using some heavy viscosity adhesive I needed something a little sturdier. Not only is this thing built for the duration, it's the smoothest, easiest to use, caulk gun I've worked with. The rod is smooth and chromed and uses a soft "o-ring" to keep tension. This is super smooth, holds great, and really makes it easy to load/unload the gun. The whole catridege section rotates freely, so you can clock the tip appropriately without needing to change the orientation of your grip.In this price range, I wouldn't recommend anything else.

I was a bit sceptical at the cost of this, but it not only does indeed stop pushing as soon as you do so no drips it is much easier to apply the same force as a cheap one and the handle is more comfy.I had some sikaflex to apply recently and after a few tubes used up with a cheap skeleton gun I had to hand the next tube was a lot stiffer to the extent I was hurting my hand to get it out. But swapped to this gun instead and the same stiffish material came out much easier allowing me to make a nice smooth bead with much less effort and no painful palm.Well worth the cash unless you are only doing a tiny bit of caulking as a one off. It isn't built to last forever but six months of good use and it's still as good as new so far.

I recently had a DIY project at the house that required some caulking. Like a lot of people I have an old caulk gun that has been hanging around for years and, of course, I put that to work. And of course immediately hit the old problem of caulk flow not stopping when I finished a bead but there was still pressure pushing behind the caulk tube. I Googled for solutions and found a YouTube video of a guy demonstrating caulking technique who was, incidentally, using a very cool looking caulk gun. I of course then started searching for "dripless caulk gun" and found the Dripless ETS2000 Ergo Composite Caulk Gun. I ordered it right away. Having used it now on two projects I have to say this is the nicest, in terms of design and construction, and also the best performing caulk gun I have ever used. True to its name it is in fact dripless. A quick squeeze of the trigger without a tube in shows why. When you release pressure on the trigger the ram backs off just enough to stop adding pressure to the caulk tube. My old caulk gun advanced the ram to a fixed position and halted. The Dripless ETS2000 Ergo Composite Caulk Gun is cool looking, nice to handle, performs well, seems built to last, doesn't drip and is priced right. What's not to like? RECOMMENDED.

I am a handy guy and I know what I am doing when it comes to home improvements. This gun is not 100% dripless to my standards. It does eek out some caulk if you set it down and walk away. Not always immediately, and not every time, but it will still drip on you. Ask my carpet. However, it is light years better than your standard $5 gun from the home improvement store. It is really easy to use, the ergonomics are good and it makes what can be an annoying task a lot better. I would purchase this again because it does make it easier to lay a nice bead of caulk and it does reduce the amount of dripping to a manageable level, but when a product says dripless I expect it to be 100% dripless. I think that is a hard claim to make for any caulk gun because of the nature of how these things works. Its not a perfect science to squeeze out caulk and stop it on a dime. So if you can accept the occasional drip you will be probably be happy with this gun. If I had to do it over, I might try to see if another manufactures claims of dripless better live up to the hype, but I suspect I'd get the same results.
