Easy to clean
You need to clean the foam insulation gun with cleaner or acetone when work done. Both the gun body and the extended tube are treated with PTFE, making clean easier. Also, the long brush eases the clean of the extended barrel.

Be aware of foam entrance clogging
Note whether the spray foam or foam cleaner you use has such plastic fittings, and if so, note whether the plastic fittings fall off each time you install them, resulting in blockage of the foam entrance.

Es ist nicht die erste Schaumpistole, aber die Verlängerung ist für mich neu.Für schwer zugängliche, etwas weiter entfernte Stellen optimal. Die Verlängerung hat einen etwas geringeren Durchmesser, der Funktionsweise schadet dies nicht.Die Haptik ist in Ordnung, nicht überragend gut, aber gewiss nicht schlecht.Anschluss, Ventil und Handhabung gleichen denen anderer Pistolen.Die Verlängerung ist stabil, für die Zwecke ausreichend. Zu große Belastungen, zum Beispiel „durchwühlen“, sollten vermieden werden.Ein gut geformter Griff erleichtert das Handling der bauartbedingt nicht sehr komfortablen Schaumpistolen.Für eine Reinigung sollte ausschließlich eine Dose mit Reiniger genutzt werden.Zu schnell könnte der Schaum bei dieser Art Konstruktion austrocknen. Einfache Pistolen mit Ventilen schließen dicht ab, haben auch nicht eine so lange Lanze.Dies ist bei diesem Modell nicht der Fall.Dose mit dem Reiniger anschrauben, spülen, ggf. mit der Bürste nacharbeiten, erneut spülen, gut ist.Nur so wird die Freude an diesem praktischen Teil nicht getrübt werden.Sehr gut

Ich habe mit der Sprühschaumpistole ein Rohr für eine Wandlüftung mit Montageschaum eingeklebt. Da das Loch mit einem 162mm Kernbohrer gebohrt wurde, und das Rohr einen Durchmesser von 160 mm hatte, war kaum Platz um mit einer normalen Sprühpistole in den Zwischenraum zu gelangen. Hier kam mir dieses Produkt gerade recht. Mit der Verlängerung kam ich auch an sehr schwer zu erreichende Stellen, sie Spitze ist so schmal das auch die wenigen mm Platz ausgereicht haben das Rohr sicher zu befestigen. Es empfiehlt sich die Düse nach gebrauch sofort zu reinigen, hier ist auch die mitgelieferte Bürste sehr von Vorteil. Ich kann das Produkt sehr empfehlen und gebe volle Sternezahl.

Gun works well. Pretty self explanatory and easy to use. I'd recommend using it without extension first and with flow control near closed. The can screws in nicely and securely. Play with settings after that, until you get used to the flow. Don't forget to clean immediately after every use. I know the instructions say you don't need to clean the main gun but don't trust this. Clean every time.

I have another foam gun without the extension which IMO is a little bit better quality but it does not have an extension tube on it. Well, it did include a couple of plastic tubes you slip over the end but it was a PITA to use. The extension tube on this foam gun is much better designed. It threads on so you don't have to worry about it slipping off and creating a huge mess. The downside is if you want to take the extension tube off, you're going to get foam all over the threads so once the foam dries, you're going to have to meticulously scrape all that off. It would have been nice if they include a thread on stubby nozzle to prevent this issue. This gun will primarily be used for areas where I can not reach with my other gun.One other complaint is the flow adjustment thumb screw feels rough and is difficult to thread in/out. Not only that but it requires a bunch of turns from fully closed to fully open. On my other gun, it operates smooth as butter and it requires just a couple of turns from fully open to fully close. This gun has an addition shut off valve on the inlet side of the gun which my other gun lacks but I don't know if that's really an advantage at all. I have stored my old foam gun for months at a time with a foam can attached to it. I just close the flow adjustment screw all the way and I have never had an issue with any of the foam drying up in the gun.

This product is very good quality and the stem is much longer than I expected, which is allows you to reach narrow areas much better.Have not been able to test the lining to ensure it cleans easily, asy last set didn’t get cleaned and completely locked up.Overall I recommend this product. I received this as part of amazon vine, but that doesnt change my views.

Gun works well. I got it to seal around 12 windows in my new addition. It is definitely worth the money, makes the job not as messy as using regular cans. Extension was handy very for my task. The tool is not heavy duty, but great for DYI and offers nice features.

Having used and cleaned a big box store bought foam gun on multiple occasions I can honestly say this is just about as good in terms of quality. The big advantage here is the extension nozzle which makes tight space access so much easier. The screw adapter worked as well or better than my other one which tends to cross thread and leak way easier than I'd like. Not really sold on the cut off ball valve as when you're done you should be removing the foam canister anyway to clean it asap. But it doesn't detract from the usage either from what I can tell.

The gun itself is great, adding the much needed length to get into hard to reach places. Only one small “drawback”.When I went to use the gun foam cleaner, for some reason, the connector plastic cap on the can of cleaner broke off. I think it was because I had the closing valve shut. Took a little effort to take it out.The gun cleans fine, the extension cleaned nicely with the provided brush, so it should be good to go next time I use it.Would recommend it, but when you go to use your foam cleaner, don’t shut the valve.

Mine came without the extension piece, rendering it useless... And I'm not surprised the package came looking just like this, extension tube wasn't fastened to anything inside of the box shipped as is

I have spent years, and lots of money, using the spray cans of foam. As long as you have a bunch of holes lined up for closing in they work fine. But I don't know how many times I have wasted cans because I waited too long and the nozzle froze up. I got additional nozzles to deal with that issue, but I still was having too much waste for my liking.So I finally got one these along with the big cans of foam, and a can of cleaner. Considering code has gotten much more strict as to sealing penetrations between conditioned and unconditioned spaces, there now are a lot of holes to deal with. Plus, on all exterior walls I seal all holes on my electrical boxes. Having a home that is fully insulated with foam in a high-wind area I have grown to appreciate just how effective foam is in eliminating drafts. We have 60 mph winds every winter, yet I can put a match next to an outlet and it doesn't even flicker.The fact I now can pick and choose when I shoot in the foam, and that it really doesn't take all that much cleaner to get the gun clean, has made sealing holes and filling in around doors and windows kind of fun. And the big cans are a lot cheaper than these big ones. So far the gun has worked well. We shall see just how durable it is since I have a whole lot of use for it very shortly ahead.

I bought this gun specifically for the extension to allow me to spray into tight spaces and longer distances. And, it did that very well, up until the brass coupler snapped. The extension can create a lot of leverage when you are working tight spaces, so that brass coupler needs to be stronger. For the record, I did not apply a lot of pressure, the brass was very soft.The gun itself is adequate as a foam gun. Don't expect high quality from this price point.
