Taking care of my garden well

This package is well worth the money if you have raised beds or large plants in individual pots. I was able to feed each of the large pots spread across our yard. The pieces fit together and come apart easily. There are two types of spray heads that will allow you to turn the flow way down if you just want to water the roots.I'll but it again if we get more plants.

I've used two different drip irrigation sets for my garden during the past few years, both were full of leaks and problems so I was sceptical of this set. I just installed this this morning, it took all of 25 minutes and works very well. It does just what it says it will do. The only issue I had was that there was no gasket for the main attachment so it leaked when attached to the spigot, but I pulled one out of an old hose and solved that problem. The sprayer heads are working well, adjust easily and are all dispensing roughly the same flow of water. I don't know how how this will perform in the long run, but first impressions are very positive.

Decided to try this in the garden this year as the sprinkler isn't doing the job very well and the black fabric does not allow water to drain thru.First off the package included enough to do all here with the exception of the 1/4" tubing. I needed to buy another 50ft roll at Home Depot because I needed another 15ft to get to the Brussels Sprouts. That was $5.Anyway, the amount of heads, T's, and hose was sufficient. Still have a few T-s and heads left over. I could split this into two trunks. I could run 4 lines to each row of tomato plants easily. I could easily run lines to everything I needed. Then I turned on the water and adjusted each sprayer nozzle to get it where I wanted it. Easy.Cutting the main and 1/4" was easy with kitchen shears. All the fittings (1/2 & 1/4) were simple to use and the assembly & fit was perfect. I was easily able to disconnect/remove lines from the components and change them. I had no leaks.I have the water come on with a battery operated timer I had bought on Amazon years ago. Now rather than letting it run a half an hour, it looks like 5 minutes will do great. Plus, the water goes straight to the roots and not all over the place where it just feeds weeds and/or evaporates. For the $35 bucks this looks like it will work out quite well.Nice product, good quality, excellent fit, good assortment. I would highly recommend this kit. Make sure to pre-plan out your layout and measure twice.

It would have been best if I set this up before I planted all my veggies. I didn't get this until late June so I think I would have set up it differently if could have adjusted the layouts of my garden beds first.I use elevated (not raised) beds that require no bending over. This irrigation system was a godsend for when we went on vacation over the summer and needed to ensure that the plants didn't die during our trip. Setting up the hose on a timer, this system only watered what was needed and required far less time to provide a good, gentle soaking of all the beds. All that's needed is a pair of good sharp scissors, a little pre-planning for the layout of the sprinkler/soaker heads, and some patience. I will definitely be setting this up again next year.

I've been using drip systems like this for about a decade. Bought a new house and needed to start over. Overall the quick-connect connectors work very well and are much easier to use than their barbed counterparts. The product is very good quality and easy to install with no tools required.A few important points if you are considering using it other than as shown in their diagrams: ONLY the orange misters fit the 1/4" tees. The other two sprayer types only work with the 1/4" tubing connected to the 1/2" tees that have four 1/4" outlets. We typically bury 1/4" tubing in our gardens and put a sprayer next to each bush or flower. There was not enough half inch hose in the kit to meet our needs, nor enough 1/4" tees, nor enough orange misters. If you're looking to use a larger number of misters in a row, consider their other less expensive product that has 20 orange misters and tees. This is a very good product that would be even better and more flexible If all sprayer types worked with 1/4" tees, and more tees were provided.
