Got this for my husband- he’s been wanting one for awhile, and this is perfect! Uses it to marinade, and to cut. Fits in our fridge. One easy clean up!

I got the xxl with brisket in mind, and right out the gate my first brisket didn’t fit, this would be great for many other cuts of meat, it might fit 2 large pork butts. I will either have to be mindful of how large I buy my briskets or I’ll need something slightly longer than this. It seems like a relatively sturdy easy to use bit of kit, though it seemed a little spendy for plastic and silicone. The lid fasteners are nice and thoughtful as are the feet on the bottom. I’m torn as to whether I feel like this is something great and necessary or if just using a cutting board and a baking sheet would be a better way to go. I’ll give it some time and see if it feels like a better proposition after using some smaller cuts in it. I fear it won’t fit in my fridge which is where the lid would be useful, for brining overnight. On the brisket I ended up using a rack on a cookie sheet and some plastic wrap and that did fit in the fridge although it was a tight squeeze.

This is a great gift for yourself or anyone who likes to grill or smoke meats. This tub can also be used for prep of many foods.This is the XLarge version and can handle an entire turkey or a large brisket. I have one for myself and loved it so I ordered as a gift for my son-in-law.Easy to use, clean and store due to being collapsible, yet sturdy when in use. It has a hard cutting board bottom that makes this a great tool.

Never again due I have to do a balance act with my barbecue...love it...nice and big...easy to clean...easy to put away....easy to hold and the lid is awesome. I even use it to keep the marinade on longer while waiting for the ret of the stuff to cook! Perfect as a gift who like grilling and have to walk from the kitchen all the way out to the back.

I bought the junior and original size in these tubs since I often marinade meats overnight and also use BBQ rubs for some when BBQing that are left on overnight. Previous to getting these tubs, I used plastic bags for marinating which sometimes didn't go well when the bags had mini holes in them. Using this method, I sometimes had to clean the refrigerator after juices leaked from the bags.At least for me, it is sometimes difficult to imagine sizes for some products from measurements that may or may not be accurate. So, I opted to buy the junior and original sizes to begin with thinking I could get the largest size if needed. I'm glad I didn't get the largest size as it would not have fit in my refrigerator. One of my pictures show how much larger the original size is than the junior size. The junior size is the one with 2 chickens. I'm glad didn't get the XL size as it would not have fit in my refrigerator. It may be good for something that doesn't have to be refrigerated, but I wouldn't have a use for it.So, what do I love about these BBQ Prep Tubs? 1) The junior size is large enough to fit 2 4.5 chickens (as pictured). The original size is much larger and will barely fit in one of my refrigerators for curing fresh ham steaks that I times do. 2) These tubs are so easy to clean. A little warm soap and water is all it takes. 3) These tubs can be folded flat for storage and take so much less space for storage then plastic bins that don't flatten. 4) The height of these tubs have two levels in addition to the flat storage level. So, the tubs can be set at a lower level for foods that do not require height, such as steaks and some roasts. 5) Using the cutting boards on these tubs collects more juices than cutting boards with channels for juice collection. This is one feature that I love. I have cutting boards with the channels for juice collection, but most often, I have to keep paper towels handy in an effort to keep the juices of meat from running onto the counter. Most often these efforts are futile and I still have to clean a greasy mess on the counter and the underside of the cutting board. 6) The original size will be plenty large for curing up to 10 fresh ham steaks. In the past, I used a storage bin that required a lot more storage space.These Prep Tubs are so much easier to use and store than the alternatives.I hope this review was helpful for you.

This is a must-have for outdoor grilling. Its versatility is amazing. Use it as a cutting board, to marinate the meat, and to transfer the meat from smoker to prep area. The functionality is limitless and the quality of this product is outstanding. Collapses easily for storing, so easy to clean, and the various sizes available make this a must-have.
