I've tried several brands of wire brushes for small rotary tools. These work as well as any I've tried, and the price is decent.

These are good brass brushes for polishing but there is a limitation. The limitation is speed. The first time I tried using one it was with an old fixed speed Dremel that runs at 28,000 RPM. The brush literally flew apart with bristles shooting out everywhere. At first I was pretty miffed, but then I tried the next brush in a vari-speed unit set at 8,000 RPM. This time the brush worked fine and held up better than I'd expected. So I'm happy with the brushes and would recommend them - just keep those RPMs set low.

These are great for lightly polishing electrical contacts in old EM pinball machines. I've only noticed a few bristles come loose, the same as name brand, but the brass bristles are a lighter touch than the steel bristles of the #532 and just as good but greater value than the #537.
