After a month, I've found that this Dreo brand space heater for bathrooms works well. We have a very high vaulted ceiling in the bathroom of this house (not something I would have elected, mind you), and it can be chilly some mornings and evenings. I did not think this rather diminutive space heater would do more than radiate heat when one is close to it, but it manages to raise the temperature to a comfortable level more quickly than I expected. It is quiet and lightweight, the remote is a bonus, and it has the ALCI plug for added safety in a wet area. I cannot, of couse, yet address durability as that attribute requires much more time, and the biggest concern I have for devices like this one is the rather complex control panel. Too often issues arise there, so here's hoping for 8-9 good years of service.

This is the best heater I've ever had. Adjustable heating levels - - the lowest of which is practically silent - - built in grip making it eady to pick up. Compact size.

I absolutely LOVE this heater. It is the perfect size for my bathroom when I'm taking a shower. This winter has been brutal and this heater has allowed me to not use such scorching hot water (just to stay warm) and I still stay warm. It has so many features...speed, oscillating, temp adjustment, timer, remote control, etc. I'm so glad I didn't skimp on the dollar amount and got this quality heater. I've also used it in the living room if the temps get down to the teens or lower and my furnace can't keep up. I recommend you go ahead and spend the extra bucks and get this quality heater. You'll thank me later.

This small & portable heater does the job for my elderly mother. We have a few portable Heaters. However, this is superior, 1. It rotates to warm the space2. It is very quiet. 3. It can be remotely controlled to turn on & off+ it has 3 different level of heat. 4. You can set it up to turn off at the desired time. It is very warm.We have been using it every day the last 2 weeks. We highly recommend it.

I bought this heater primarily to use in my bathroom because my bathroom is so cold in the winter. I appreciate the fact that it has the safety switch on it.Unlike a lot of heaters, it doesn't smell, thankfully. It works well, heating up quickly but not blasting you with hot air -- instead it feels more like the air is warming up around you. It's pretty quiet, and while it's not silent, it's definitely not noisy.I hope it will last a long time. It seems sturdy and well made, and it has great safety features. Please remember to never plug a space heater into an extension cord or power strip.I think this heater is a good value. While I could have bought a less expensive heater, I don't think it would be as well made or as pleasant to use.Other nice features are the remote and the off timer. Perfect for when I'm trying to get cozy in bed but don't want it running all night!

I've had this heater several years and it works flawlessly. I usually just run it at the low 900W setting and that is enough heat for me. I have knocked it off the table a few times and it has fallen several feet, the safety feature instantly kicked in and shut the heat off, equally impressive is the fan suffered NO damage internally or externally, not even a scratch or a ding. The housing is very sturdy. I've had other fans that break on 1 fall. I love the timer, and how quiet and compact it is. Love the remote, I wish I could set the timer from the remote but thats OK. LOVE the safety plug, I recommend this version of the fan with the ALCI Safety Plug, (Appliance Leakage Circuit Interrupter) a device that protects people from electrical shock by cutting off power to an appliance if it detects a ground fault.

WORTH THE MONEY: I bought this for my small bathroom and it fit in and heated it perfectly. But as things got cooler, I moved it to my bird room to keep my pets warmer. The birds love it and sometimes position themselves on the perch to get closer to the heat. (NEVER aim it at the cage). You can set the temperature exactly to ensure things are not too hot or too cool. If the room goes above the set temperature, the heater turns off.The safety feature is impressive and effective. I have on a couple of occasions knocked over this small heater and it immediately turned off. That was very comforting. For those with pets: you need to be sure that this heater is *NOT* aimed at your pets or their cages/beds/spaces. At one point I was setting the heater too close to the cage and one of the pull out trays became warped. So you need to be very very careful. Also, as great as this is, I do not leave this on when I leave the house. Instead, I up the room temp so my pets are warm from the central heating. I turn on the heater when I return home. One of my best Amazon purchases.

I bought this heater for use in my small apartment bathroom. The heater has an attractive, compact design, making it easy to carry or reposition. One of the features that I most like is the removable, washable dust filter. It's not something you see in many other models. Despite it's compact size, this is a powerful heater. But "too much." If I'm undressed in the bathroom, the hot blast can burn my leg even with the heater on the lowest setting. It being an apartment bathroom, I can't move the heater further away. The heater works perfectly as designed. It has a great many features, but "too much" (too many?). You can adjust the heat levels, whether it oscillates, thermostat on or off, whether it beeps or not, automatic timer, etc. There's even a remote control ("too much"). I really just want to turn the heater on or off and set the heat level. This device and its remote control have touch controls using symbols that I didn't intuitively understood. I had to read the instruction manual. ("Too much.") Now that I have it figured out, I am happy with this heater. However, if I had a house guest, it would be "too much" to expect them to read an instructional manual before using this heater properly.
