I've bought many of these over the years and they generally work well for cleaning small parts, but this morning I opened this package and started using the brush on the lowest speed on my dremel. Within about 5 minutes it started shedding its fibers. They just broke off from the center. Normally the wear down under use. The package looked authentic, the same as the others I have purchased but this one is very poor quality. Maybe just one bad one, but they cost too much to put up with this kind of failure.

If you have a particularly powerful Dremel make sure to turn it down to 15,000 rpm or less. Made the mistake my first go-around and left it on 35000k.... It completely destroyed itself within seconds. When used correctly it's a fairly useful bit especially in tight spaces and a long uneven material.

I used these to polish my aluminum engine block for a ‘73 Porsche 914. They do a great job and last quite a while. I used 2 stacked together and got great results.

I used the120 grit brush with my Dremel rotory tool and repeatedly received them defective. The brushes tear apart first use and are projected in all directions. They have hit my face and body. Thankfully wearing glass each time. I have tried more than a dozen of these over the last 6 months. Only one was good. I intend to contact Dremel, yet highly recommend that noone use the 120 grit Dremel brush

Does the job, but depending on what you're working on, they don't last long. I'd order a half dozen to be on the safe side. I like the flexibility of the fingers to get into those odd places a stiff sander wouldn't work in.

does what nothing else can. if you need the sander that you can't find the answer to, this is it. A little pricey, but worth it in the long run. Surprisingly efficient!!!

These wheels from the appearance look as if they wouldn't clean anything. They work exceptionally well at cleaning small items where a large sander wouldn't fit. They clean off paint off slowly so if you are trying not to go crazy on the metal they are perfect. I use them to clean smaller motorcycle parts like brackets or aluminum parts where it's hard to reach. They last for a reasonable amount of stripping especially if you don't push very hard, let the wheel do the work.

which I found too aggressive and didn't last as well. These nylon bristles are super long lasting. I was able to work for more than an hour on a complex, hard burl carving with multiple tight curves and yet had minimal wear. (Trying to push too hard on work that has not been properly prepared to 150 grit level would cause faster wear.) The built-in compound provided a nice polish that would have been a complete finish had I not been working for a super-glow. (I continued to buff through 3 more levels of grit and buffing pad.)Use a light touch in the right conditions and these wheels will do a great job.
