My wife and I were REALLY looking forward to this door. It arrived the day before our houseguest was scheduled to arrive. I followed the directions PERFECTLY, and as seen in the photo, the manual had a very specific formula to follow to ensure proper cuts to the top and bottom rails. HOWEVER the space labeled "Model Size (from Table A)" is FALSE. It SHOULD be the "pre-cut length" in that slot! As a result, the instructions led me to cut almost TWICE as much material as I needed, resulting in the sorry inability to install the frame! We are now forced to scramble to get a shower curtain before our guest arrives, there are unsightly holes in the tub, and I have wasted an afternoon.Since I have the product, I DEMAND replacement top and bottom rails so I can at least finish installation of this door and salvage what I can of the situation. DreamLine... you have disappointed us greatly :(

The installation instructions were hard to follow and I’m a pretty good handyman. The problem is after it’s cut to size, there’s little or no space left to properly seal the bottom and sides because it goes in as one big piece. After caulking the edges several times, it still leaked. Had to totally remove the entire enclosure, disassemble and slightly trim all three edges, then reinstall with lots of extra silicon. The totally time was maybe 16 hours, but with hindsight and better instructions, should have only taken half that time. Looks great, but a real pain to install.

At first I thought this was a totally awesome door design. It went together flawlessly and looked amazing. It wasn’t until the customer came and looked at it that I realized there was a major design flaw. Having the doors in the center prohibits the use of a safety grab bar. Usually you have a grab handle mounted to the left or to the right to aid somebody to enter into a bathtub. Even if you mount one on the back wall of the tub, that is quite a long reach to aid yourself to get into the tub.As much as the design looks totally amazing and unique, I must insist that this is totally dangerous. Unfortunately, I might even have to switch the door out if I cannot come up with a solution for my customer to get in and out safely.

While this is a very well made and unique shower door system, it is not a do it yourselfer job! I hired a pro and it took him over 4 hours. One thing they don't tell you is that if your tub unit has a slight curve at the bottom of the opening you will have to file the metal corners of the rail to get it to fit properly! It is a 90* angle at the bottom of the track, so unless you have a 90* corner, be prepared to make an alteration by filing the metal...after all that it looks great!

This is a very nice, well-made product that looks great and works just like it should. Installation is time-consuming but not beyond the capabilities of an experienced do-it-yourselfer, and contrary to what some other reviewers have said, the instructions do explain the key measurements. I'm glad I purchased this & recommend it highly as a cost-effective way of upgrading your tub shower.

Installation went pretty smooth. I goofed on the drill size for the wall anchors so I had to up size them and get bigger anchors/screws. Not a big deal just a trip to the HW store. Double check the size spec'd against the provided anchors, could have been an error there, I never went back an checked?I love the unit itself. It has helped seal the tub up so the kids splashing stays in where it's supposed to. I like the center opening vs. the traditional side to side opening. Looks great too.So far it's holding up well after a couple months.

We bought the the frosted Model a few weeks, ago, and had it installed. We are very happy with this purchase for a few reasons. First, if you look at one of the pictures, look at the rollers, no more Soap scum, the two doors slide very easily and lock with a magnet, which I think is a very nice touch. It's very sturdy, and looks classy. I'm not one for the traditional sliding door, so I was very glad to have found this product, plus the No Soap Scum on the bottom is a pet peeve of mine.

Absolutely love it!! We replaced tub door with this one. It is gorgeous and I thought from the description these doors opened out when in fact they slide which makes it even a better product for our needs. This was the final touch in our bathroom we recently remodeled. The price was very reasonable and the free shipping made it a true buy!! It fit perfectly with some adjustments on the bottom corners made by my husband who is very handy. It is a tight fit and not flimsy whatsoever. Much better than the one we bought from Lowes many years ago. If you are on the fence I believe you won't be disappointed in this product. Glad I chose to buy.
