This is a really fun accessory. Drop it in the water and a couple of hours later there are all sorts of baitfish inside. Even if you forget the bait!We've been using it with my 7 year old, and checking the net seems to be more fun for him then actually going fishing. It's really fascinating!Super easy to use, stores very well, easy to empty. Recommended!

I purchased this to remove an over abundance of horned pout (6” size) from my pond. I put some sliced hot dogs in for bait. Caught 16 fish within 2 hrs. This trap is sturdy, well made, easy to use, includes strong synthetic twine approx. 20’ long. The price is very fair for the quality of the trap.

This minnow trap is similar to others I have ordered, but I would say the quality of the material was better than some others I have tried. They basically functioned the same, really the same design even, other than that it seemed like the folding process into a compact shape was really good, and that the quality of the material seemed sturdier. I would just rank this is a higher quality producer of this item than some others are. I did like the bright blue color better as well, but from a functional point of view, that doesn't do much; perhaps you can see it in deep water better. I would also note it came with a nice little fabric pouch that you could put the net back into when it is folded up. Overall, I'd say if you are going to buy one of these nets, it seems to be of decent quality, as this one compares favorably with 2 others I have used.

Used to trap baby fish from pond. Worked well. No instructions included or info on what kind of bait to use etc. which would have been nice.

So I was trying to get a new prawn trap. I saw this for sale and with good reviews I thought it would be good so I bought 3.Item arrived and I was worried about the quality (foreshadowing). I took it out to catch prawns and within the span of an hour I lost all 3 traps.First trap the black line connecting the trap broke off when I was pulling. The second trap had the same thing happen. The third one also had the same thing happen except when I was throwing it into the water.So in less than an hour. Apart from 3 shrimps and 4 sea perches. I also lost all the traps.I would have asked for a refund if it wasn't for the fact that the traps have currently remodeled into hotels with a built in buffet.I would say that the concept of the traps is definitely good and it does work well if it wasn't for the quality (or lack of).Attached the picture of what I caught with the traps before they were converted to underwater hotels with bed and breakfast.

The picture I attached was MY FIRST CAST .. loaded it with a piece of bread floating around a chunk of white cheese so the fish could see the bait in the dark water then in the bait bag I put frozen ground beef chunk and some fishy flavoured cat food pellets and I cannot stress it enough everytime I threw this trap in I would wait 5mins or less and pull out atleast 20 fish creek chub, fall fish , sucker fish etc was a ton of fun … if there are fish in the area and you have the right bait you will catch fish allll day long .. the mesh isn’t the highest quality but if it rips I will just patch it very easily w zipties the mesh hasn’t got caught on anything for me yet .. the build it self is cosmetically a lil janky looks homemade a bit but it does its job flawlessly and I have no doubts that it will hold up for a long time as long as I watch where I’m casting it out , also you would think fish could escape easy with so many holes but I don’t think I lost a single fish all day

These traps fold up nicely for storage and work great in the field. Zippers can get stuck on cable ties but can be worked loose eventually. No complaints after using these for over a year so I purchased 10 more. :)
