Got my bathroom sink draining pretty well, so yay! Seems pretty will made, stainless steel spring, reasonably robust plastic.A bit of a pita though, but kind of not its fault. Getting it past the U-trap took some futzing around, as predicted in the instructions, and like you'd expect. Also not that easy to clean. Gunk gets stuck in the last 6 in of the cable, not that easy to get out, but I'm not sure how that could be improved. Ended up using needlenose pliers, still awkward.Suggestion that would improve it, i think: Loosening and tightening the thumbscrew to pull out more cable is somewhat fiddly. Would be nice if there was a simple flip latch instead.I don't mean to drill on these little things. Bottom line is that it did what it's supposed to do, and I'm grateful to finally have a better solution than my previous plunging strategy.

I purchase this Drain Auger to replace a similar one I had previously used with success. The addition of an optional drill attachment to this model is game changing! The snake easily wound down my sink drain, and the drill attachment powered through whatever blockage was preventing the basin from draining properly. Between the price of this drain auger and its effectiveness, you really can't go wrong with this purchase for general home drain unclogging needs!

The Clog Remover, though, there are mixed feelings about its ease of cleaning post-use and the durability of certain components. I appreciate the cost-saving aspect of having such a tool at home, with many stating it's a good investment for occasional household clogs.Overall, The unit offers a practical solution for homeowners tackling drain clogs without professional help. It's useful, mainly when used with a drill, but some parts' robustness is considered. For those who encounter drain issues infrequently, this tool represents a valuable, budget-friendly option that, with care, can serve well over time. However, for heavy or frequent use, one might consider looking for a more robust construction in the plastic components.

Toilet had a clogged issue i couldnt resolve. Got this shipped to me within like 8 hours, worked right away. Easy to feed in, spin, feed in, spin, repeat a few times... until it goes all the way down. No issues. Easy to use. Cheap to purchase. Those returning it likely used it, it worked, and returned it like the cheap humans they are.10/10

Have had a kitchen sink clog for monthsBacks up after a couple minutes of water running. Went under house and found 4 @90° bends in the first 10 ft of drain line. Bought this snake as the cost of a plumber was unaffordable. Had the problem cleared in 15 minutes and used only 16 ft the 25 ft length. Didn't even have to use the optional drill attachment. Saved me hundreds of dollars...Highly recommend

I just got this today and couldn’t wait to use it on my tub drain. It’s been clogged for too long and Draino wasn’t working. A couple of months ago, I put a plastic drain snake down there and it broke off inside. So, I knew that this broken piece had to still be in there causing more hair to clog. Sure enough, this mighty tool got everything out, including the broken snake, with ease. This was so insanely satisfying that I can’t wait for the drain to re-clog just so I can do this again. I may even take it with me to my friend’s and family’s houses so I can continue my unclogging party.

I think this product would probably work well enough for cleaning out a bath or sink drain, but it does not work well for unclogging toilets. The issue is that the “coil wire” is not thick enough, and so when trying to feed it down into the toilet, it does not hold its shape and just bends, rather than pushing through the blockage. In a pipe I’m sure the small space would prevent this but in a toilet it does not.Along with the fact that the item does not SelfFeed or SelfRetract (meaning you have to shove it down and pull it out by hand, even if it’s gross), makes it less than ideal for clogged toilets. This is ofc my opinion, from my own personal experience, and if you feel it would meet your needs I don’t think it’s as fragile as some of the other comments present it to be. Unless you are running it full blast with a drill (instead of gradually increasing), aggressively spinning it with disregard, or forgetting to unscrew the lock that holds the wire in place (which would probably break the end plastics), it seemed that it was quality enough of a product; for $30 ofc.
