Product is a cheap 4. It’s UV reactive & neon kitschy, bright under regular lighting as well. Not impressed with the quality - the coating on 1st string started to peel after 15 minutes of playing. Picture attached is under UV light to show peeling. Can't tell you how these sound beyond install and setup, that’s all the longer that 1st string lasted with a run of the mill medium fender pick.Can’t contact seller or manufacturer for insight if this is real.Amazon frustration is real. Impossible to contact the seller, can’t return if there is a problem. Can’t get any answers. Just endless circles of customer service not understanding you can’t return the item in unused condition because if you install them on your instrument, it can’t be undone. Goodness forbid you cut strings when removing them.

These strings look and sound great and were perfect for my themed project. Heads up, these strings will flake and lose their color over time, especially if they are played a lot.

I used other sets of DR Neon strings before and they worked great. These ones also look great, but I never actually got a chance to use them since when I went to put them on, a piece of the nut snapped off of my guitar. However, this is not the fault of the strings, It's my fault for not checking the thickness before putting them in. I would recommend checking your nut before stringing it up just in case.

The paint chips off quickly on the smaller strings. I still buy them to string my E strings on a pedal steel guitar. Really makes them stand out and helps me navigate the grips. For that I recommend these. cheers

Great tone. The coating lasted for more hours than expected. Provides less finger-fatigue and sliding is much easier. ALL of the Neon colors look fantastic. I'm putting these on every one of my working guitars 😎

great strings, great sounding and great quality, only thing is the covering comes off rather quickly but it may be just how hard I play them.
