8 tips for longer-lasting strings:

- Observe whether your guitar has sharp edges that can cause breakage.

- Clean the fingerboard and polish the frets when changing strings.

- Avoid making more than 3-4 windings when stringing.

- Wash your hands before playing.

- Wipe the strings with a dry cloth after playing.

- Store the guitar dry.

- Tip for more excellent tuning stability: Stretch the strings a little after winding.

Always remember that nothing lasts forever - treat yourself to new strings from time to time.

Recommendation: the average guitar player should change up to 5 times a year to keep the sound pleasant.

I like the purchase. Especially the extra 1st string and picks. (I needed the extra 1st b/c I snapped the first one. It happens🤷🏼‍♂️) Unfortunately I also snapped the 2nd string as well, so I need to replace it. Otherwise the tone sounds good on the five I’ve strung, and I’ll probably order another set seeing as how well priced they are.

I ordered these for my child's mini electric guitar. While they would be great for a full-sized electric as well, they were perfect for me. I like how there is an extra string included in case you break the thinnest one while stringing. (I'm assuming that's what its for) They are labeled and easy to install and come with some great guitar picks. I can't wait to test them out.

These strings seem like quality. I haven’t had a chance to play them for more than a day yet. But they do the trick. I think the extra high e string is pretty genius. That string is always the first to go… having to only switch out that string when needed can save time in restringing the entire fret board.

For years, I've been loyal to another brand of strings on my Stratocaster. However, fate led me to stumble upon some intriguing reviews of Belfort strings, boasting a unique characteristic: a smoother playing experience. Intrigued by this claim, and with the added bonus of offering my preferred string gauge, I couldn't resist ordering a set for a thorough test drive. My Verdict:Sleek and sustainable packaging that gets straight to the point, with cool string numbering. The inclusion of an extra high E string is a stroke of genius. The picks included are a delightful bonus. They settle in quickly, and their tuning stability is remarkable.Playing these strings feels sublime, living up to the promised softer touch I was seeking.Subjectively, they deliver a tonal richness and warmth that surpass my previous strings. What sets Belfort apart is their outstanding customer orientation. I took the initiative to share my initial impressions with the manufacturer, and their gracious and appreciative email response proved that they truly value their customers. Kudos to them!Granted, as a German startup, Belfort may not compete with the industry giants in terms of pricing, but the value they provide is unquestionable. Their well-executed concept and exceptional product justify the price tag.Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend anyone in search of an alternative to their go-to strings to give Belfort a chance. It's a venture worth undertaking!
