I ordered the DPTOOL Bushing Press Set to remove and replace Axle Bushings in a 4X4 Ford, they can be very difficult to Remove & Replace. This Amazing Bushing Tool Set Really held up to the heavy loads of the 30T Press. Using the Threaded Rods included with the Set does allow you to change many Axle & Spring Bushings on the Vehicle. I was a bit hesitant with these before ordering because for the price I assumed this would be a low-quality kit. When the package arrived, my doubts improved when I felt the weight of the package. Upon opening the package I was impressed with the overall quality of the bushing cups and threaded rods.This is sold as a VW / Audi kit but can be used with many other bushings that are of similar size.The blow-molded case is also decent quality and helps keep everything in place for storage.

Update:I found with more use that the bearings that fit between the washers are not holding up very good.. It does not keep it from being used, but if you plan on using this more than one or two times, it would be best to replace these bearings with something better as they are already failing for me.. Everything else is holding up fine. I ordered some new ones to replace it.. From what I can tell, the model number of the new ones are 51101.. If you get new ones, make sure the new ones are not made like these.. From looking, I found out that the ones that they put in this are the cheapest ones that I found, so do not go by just price or you might be in the same position again. I included 2 photos to show the bearings that came with it.Original Review:The case is decent.. But with one complaint.. That round flat washer like piece.. It does not snap into place when you close the lid.. Because of this, you have to be careful every time you close the lid to make sure that it lines up good when you close it because it does not stay in place.. This was definitely a design flaw..Other than that, it has worked good for what it has been used on with no problem.. But I have limited use with it.. After all, it is not like this is a part that gets replaced very often..

It's a great kit to have for most small to medium sized tasks on VW and Audi vehicles. I haven't tried any other brands yet, but I'm sure it will fit the one or the other. The quality seems decent, but the kit is definitely only for bushings and not for something like wheel bearings too. Also I wouldn't trust to use this with power or air impact tools, but instead only with hand tools. Pro tip: smear some grease or anti seize on the threads, it'll make your life easier and make the threads last longer

As a professional automotive technician, I do a lot of suspension work. This kit is a great addition to my collection. It is sold as a bushing service kit for Audi/VW but it will work for others as well. I have used it to remove and install some lateral joints as well as using the pieces in the hydraulic press. The quality is very good and price is reasonable making this a 5 star product for me.
